What is up with not all countries getting downloadable quest

I am disappointed in the fact that there have been numerous downloads on the Japanese servers intended for the Japanese release of PSO only. No disrespect to our Japanese players, but each country should be getting the quests released to them, and at the same time, not just one country. I know of at least 4 downloadable quests now that have only been released on the Japanese servers to those set with the Japanese settings on their DC. And another thing, it is not cool that they had the PSO Cup thingy to do, while everyone else gets bupkis. Anyone else peaved by this?

I can think of two reasons.

1. The easter quest gave out rare items. Since their is so much duping in the US, they might had not wanted to release it in fear that all those items would be copied.

2. They got lazy and didn't want to translate.

I agree with what both of you are saying. Yet, if I was given the option to subscribe to a service and be able to get the quests, I would not hesitate to do it. But that option is not given to any country but Japan http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_frown.gif (which is not even a choice for them, they just have to pay to play). Yeah the US dupers suck. But still don't think that one country gets all the goodies, when a game is supposed to be internationally equal.

Hey, we did get "Letter from Lionel" didn't we..lol. But seriously, it does take time to translate the stuff, and I'm sure there are other legitimate reasons for us not getting these quests...yet. Be patient. If anything, rant on how we NEED ver.2, and that Sega'll be fostering alot of bad blood if they don't give us what we want.

Yes, we did get Letter to Lionel about a month or so after Japan does, so I can bet we will also eventually get the one where the guy has you find materials and the one where you have to kill 99 monsters. But, we probably won't ever get the PSO Cup or the "Easter" quest. Mainly because the PSO Cup is intended as a competition for Japanese players only and the "Easter" quest doesn't have anything to do with Easter at all. It's basically just a huge advertisement for eAccess.

well, i am surprised! i guess my friends and i are in the minority. it seemed that most people i talked to agreed that it was not cool that Japan was getting the downloads, and new weapons while we where left hoping we might get them in a few months(which in most cases we haven't). We have got "Lionel" and that is pretty much it. But the responses on here make it look like you guys don't care to much about missing out...strange

can't/isn't it possible to download the games from the Japenese server?
Something about changing language etc etc...
anyone know about that?

Yeah, Beany, Check the News section on the front for info on that. You can download them, change your language settings to Japanese, and play them that way. A little trouble, but worth it for at least the easter quest.

Sure, it's not fair that the rest of us don't get the add-on quests, but as far as the easter quest goes, that's just a big advertisement with nice rares added to it. The others, however, we aren't missing much. Who knows their reasoning as to why, tho...
