What type of payments do they accept?

credit card, thats it. PSO Explorer will let you pay by check or money order but it costs more.

Us version takes credit cards only
EU version takes Credit (mastercard/visa) and Debit cards (switch and Solo)

Okay, if I do it online (US)... how much is it and how long is it? I want to compare prices here.

If you sing up with Sega (credit card) it's $8.95 a month with your first month free. After that it automatically bills you each month.

If you go the PSO Explorer route, it's NEW Registrations are $12.95 per month (with one month free). After your initial month, you can purchase additional months for $11.95. Also here are 2 important things you need to know about the PSO Explorer service:

1.) If you have already registered your Gamecube PSO game before
(on your own credit card or a friend's credit card) with Sega,
you will NOT be able to activate your
Serial/Access with us. Period. Do NOT submit an order.

2.) If you are a new customer, once we register
your Serial/Access key under PSO Explorer's Account,
you will NOT be able to register the game
under your own name...so only use PSO Explorer, if you are serious about continuing to use PSO Explorer as your service provider (and you have no credit card).
