I got alittle confused in the EP3 FAQ..so I just wanted to ask can you still design your own charecter??

You can, but you don't play them in your decks. You have character specific cards in them instead.

Your character is the guy you run around the Online lobbies and P2/Red Base with. In combat, you take on Elly's controller role, and the person on the planet doing the actual fighting is one of 24 total Story Characters, each with their own special abilities.
