For a moment the world shimmered and glowed then for a moment, his body was pierced by innumerable spears of concentrate light. He fell to his knees, only to stand back up, his wounds already beginning to close. The burnt smell of flesh already fading with a slight breeze and the blackened skin began to fade to a healthy pink.

His eyes were full of fire as his gaze met with that of the unholy beast with which he had crossed swords. It began to raise it's staff again, as it's crystal burst into a glowing orange fire. Suddenly, it burst into a fiery light as a glowing green shot imbedded itself into the sorcerous beast's carapace. The creature faded into the darkness, and the room was dark again.

Rith slammed his fist against his leg, and a light fluttered into brilliance at his wrist. He shook his head, still dizzied by the blow, but it delayed him little. He scooped his blade from the floor. The legendary double cannon. Admittedly, he often thought it a waste to own such a powerful weapon, as more often than not, he would use his gun. A prototype apparently, but still perhaps the most powerful weapon he had ever wielded. Excluding of course his double cannon.

He took a few minutes to scrounge for any loot he might find useful. Sadly, he found little more than a few carcasses. He shrugged and looked around for a door. Rith soon found it. A massive archway, leading into an even more expansive room. He recognized it. He had been here before. The antechamber...

Rith hesitated, but Dark Falz... she had been gone for years. He shrugged of the feeling and continued walking forward. The room was massive. Scientists had often come here to study it, as it was obviously the largest room in the Ruins, and after being in such close proximity to... It.

He shook again, drew the Red Handgun, and charged into the room, he heard the shuffling of a Dimenion. He leapt to the side of the central pillar, holding his gun steadily before him, expecting to catch the Dimenion off guard and kill it before he even touched the ground.

And then he saw it.

The gun fell limp in his grasp, and he fell hard on his side. He rolled over, and still on his back, he began to back away. The creature had begun to shuffle towards him. He scrambled. Rith had never screamed in his life. Since he was a child, nothing had ever took him enough by surprise to make him scream, nothing had ever scared him enough to yell.

But now, it came upon him.

And he screamed...

Hmmm...
The end seems to imply he is afraid of the dimenian and not something else that is REALLY terrifying... Unless it is a dimenian that's scaring him of course.

It was something about the Dimenion.

Did that not come across clearly? maybe I should re-write it.

Yeah, you need a way to say that the dimenian was different in some way. If people can realise that the dimenian isn't normal then his reaction would be understandable.

Reguardless of the confusion, this is a very good start. Hope it works out for ya.
