Losing = New cards?

I've noticed that whenever I lose, I can almost 100% get a new card just out of the two you get. I've read a few posts about others noticing this as well over at GameFAQs.

Perhaps this is all just coincidence?

Just coincidence. After you hit 65-70% of cards collected, this will tone down a ton.

I was playing with 1 guy against 2 other guys and we lost but out of the two cards my partner got, he said one of them was a VIP card. That's pretty lucky.

heh. that happened to me today. I lost 2 battles, and got 2 cards from each battle, in both sets, one was a new card, the other was an Al Rappy.

Ummm I havn't noticed this at all. I usually play offline multi to bump up my card collection, and everytime I deffeat my second character, they usually just get cards they already have. Like hidelbear and rappy.

Not me. When ever I lose I don't get any new cards, just random CRAP.

I rather win than lose...Even if it does mean getting semi decent new cards, winning if just more fun, especialy again people who get bad rolls.

Yea, losing probably has a higher percentage of getting new cards so the losers can try again.

(Speaking of which, I lost a match and got Giant Garden, which looks good)
