I just bought a second memory card to back up my PSO data, because of all the corrupted data I've heard about.
Well, you cannot copy or move data to another memory card.
Are there any workarounds to this?

Well, it's not quite hell. Purgatory maybe.
Oh well.
Thanks!

Unfortunately there isn't a workaround for that. There are programs that will backup your memory cards files to your pc, which you can then restore to a different card, but it won't work with PSO because the files are tied to the format ID of each card and the backupprogram won't actualy reformat the card to match the ID of the original. USB memory cards work well however for saving and restoring files including PSO (although there are a few extra steps needed for PSO.)
For now, make sure to bank the items you aren't using and try to stay away from crowded lobbies. Also using an official Nintendo memory card tends to help. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
Hmmm I really have to back up my mem card.
USB eh?
