Why can't I trade?

I've got some nice cards, and so does my friend. What factors other than being in a deck would cause cards to be 'untradable'?

Can you trade cards?
Yes, both online and offline. S, SS, and E rank cards cannot be traded. You have to go to a special card trading booth/machine on the Morgue to trade cards. Note that you must have at least 2 ards to trade 1, you must retain at least 1 copy of a card for yourself at any given time. It is also possible to trade and not get anything in return, effectively just giving out a card. The maximum amount of cards that can be traded per trade machine session is 3, with a maximum of 20 cards per selection.
