Can anyone give me tips on drawing hair?
thats one reason why I quit drawing, because I suck at hair.
any tips are very appreciated.

What i do for anything i DONT know how to do is look in books, books with pictures, (Depending on the style you wish, either Catolouges or Manga) and mimic it, Thats the way i got my hair to look spiffy!

Tips for drawing hair:

1. Try longer hair first... It may help to draw longer strands of hair. *shrug* I know it helped me when I started drawing.

2. Don't draw the hair overly spikey or choppy. It looks unnatural and unhealthy that way.

3. Remember that hair naturally reflects light, so include the highlights and shadows.

start from the skull with individual lines, going to the desired length...
