Can you see what I see?
All these walls coming together around me.
I've lived long enough, to learn of,
A life without love.

Sometimes I need someone dear,
To come and hold me near.
Yet life does not accept,
And they pretend not to hear.
The one, that appears inept.

When I see you, happy and alive
I cannot help but be envious.
They love you, but no matter how I strive,
My fate is only, too obvious.

Then it came,
Like rain out of the skies
Without the pain,
Free from the lies.

Take my hand,
Love for who I am
Lost in the sand
Is those not upon what can,
Help me stand,
Yes I love,
Him...

Very moving. So difficult to describe an emotion so abstract, and from one who is soul-less it is all they sthrive for. Nicely done, my hats down to you.

Nick, if your gonna be a closed minded fool, I will request you to be banned. The speaker in the poem isn't always the writer, you should know that, you've gone through the same grade as me...
