The original was a lot better, but it was a good movie. I'd much rather have seen a shot for shot remake of the original though. Even though it was a lot cheaper, the old one had so much more gore then the remake.

Zombie movies dont make no sense... why in the hell shoot something that is already dead?? Makes no sense... use a good hatchet, axe, katana, whatever sharp blade. Go hack their legs off... and then their heads. Even if still alive, they wont catch up to you and if they do, they cant bite you. Meh.

I dunno. I'm a huge fan of zombies. Mostly just because of the Resident Evil games, but I really liked 28 Days Later. To be fair, I've never seen any of the classic zombie movies. I will one of these days.

But you're saying that Dawn of the Dead is worth seeing, even if it's just because it's terribly funny?

I would pay to see it again if anyone else wanted to go. But yeah, this one definitley has it's funny moments (even if they aren't meant to be funny) and its very cool pseudoscary moments. And I also agree with Guntz that the original was a little better even though the Zombies looked more fake.
