High Damage Combinations! Time to slay some foes!

This sort of has multiple purposes.
One purpose is to show off or to have some fun with card combinations dealing high amounts of damage.

-What's the most amount of damage you've have done or been dealt in a single attack (counting Action Cards, double strike, etc.)? Feel free to show off your total damage in a single attack to multiple foes at a time (i.e., rampage, round slay), but I think it would be awesome to see some of the single target crushing attacks.

Another purpose is to help players build AC combinations that would be viable in battle, cost efficient, etc.

Of course for the first purpose of showing off your damage, it doesn't mean it was good practice/strategy. We most all know that overkill is best avoided in the sense of cards like Companion http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif but this is for fun!

7 + 3 (against swords) = 10
10 + 5 (MC attack) = 15
15 + 7 (2 cost for MC attack) = 22

or the best sounding way (doesn't seem logical way to calculate to me.....)

7 + 3 (against swords) = 10
10 + 7 (2 cost for MC attack) = 17
17 + 8 (MC attack) = 23


I always wondered how Ep3 calculates damage. Does it go up through the weapon, first action card (this case it has to be MC attack) and then the final card. Or does it go down from Mighty Knuckle? In that case, how does it know the weapon's damage, and when does it add the sword demolisher bonus.

My favourite attacks are using high AP gun against another gun http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Yasmin 3000R + 5 on Kranz

2 + 5 = 7
7 + 3 (against gun using GN attack) = 10
10 + 3 (because it's a gun you are attacking add another 3) = 13

erm, ive kindof honed a technique for killing 2 Reiz's at the same time.

Dark Meteor and Mag on Kranz (fixed range)
you need a 9 roll for this to work, but with 3 dice+1 cards and rules set at a minimum 6 roll its not hard to do. Also deck shuffle has been unactivated.

then you use:
HP Attack
Gun Attack
Double Hit

in that order. DM has random AP as well, so if you roll a 9 (Max) you can do 48x2 damage to each of them (obviously no def cards used, and i have done this, just attack after tiefu http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif)

this gives you a grand total of 192 damage, guarenteed S rank.

Yeah I wasn't exactly sure how it did 36 either.

Then I looked back and checked the cards I played.
I know for sure I had a 9 atk dice roll when I started, and I didn't have anything like Mines Brightness or anything...

This is the closest I've calculated it so far.

7 + 8 (used 7 atk on M. Knuckle, which takes that and adds 1) = 15.
15 + 7.5 (Sword Dem. or MC, whichever) = 22.5
22.5 + 11.25 (Sword Dem. or MC, whichever) = 33.75.

Perhaps the CPU had an assist out at the time, although I can't recall it using one at the moment.

I've done 20 damage with a yas with spilt and other boost, haven't tried using double strike decks.

First, you must be playing on Unguis Lapis.

1st turn: Play 3x Dice +1 and a Mag, play Exchange, Play Dark Meteor, move up one.

2nd turn. HP attack, Gun Attack, Double Attack.

VS sailgun... this is a Kinda useless example but it got the job done.

were they using TP attack, which swaps your AP and TP around, and just build up the AP that way?

and Zinger, your the man with a plan, spot on apart from its Nebula Montana 2, and i move 1 to the left and 1 up as you said. which puts me in range to kill them both next turn.

but thats pretty much it. it can go wrong though, if you dont concentrate, and mess up your first go, you wont get an S rank. this is because, the next time you can attack, Reiz will have her contact halfguard card, and it'll bring your damage crashing down :S

apart from that its pretty iron clad if done right. certain things will mean they can def your attack, but most of the time they wont. but remember the eventual damage is variable, it ranges from about 160-192 because DM has random AP but because of the 3 Dice+1 cards, you cant roll less than a 4, so that gives you 160, thanks to GN attack you gain an extra 12 damage if you roll a 9and so fourth http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

A pretty simple one that can do respectable damage is a Nano Dragon with HP Attack, since Nano Dragon itself can be quite easy to obtain, and HP Attack is fairly common from the shops.

most I did was Stab + Slash + Stab + Punch using the Yasminkov 3000R with Kranz the total damage was 13 to 5 items that = 65
