yes its possible to dupe in ep. 3 but the process takes longer and its not really worth it considering the fact that the gameplay dynamics have changed so drastically. You're better off just learning to play well.

exactly, the gameplay in EP3 isnt so much reliant on having x amount of uber cards, but more or less being able to have your deck synergize with itself (to those with small vocabularies, it means to make the deck work well with itself, and not reliant on one single thing)

And the big question, what the heck would you dupe in the game anyway? All the uber cards can't be traded and most of the others can be found by punching the stuffings out of a second player over and over.
it will get there eventually... its a bad bad bad bad plague for the pso series

ill sum duping in ep3 in 2 words: Ultimately Pointless
i doubt there will be a huge duping community on ep3. for a start, it can only be done offline. you can only dupe cards you have, or have been traded, and if its a rare card, e.g. a TJ you wont have many to dupe in the first place, so it would be long and labourius. most of the cards that would be easy to dupe you should have lots of already, making the time you spend duping them wasted.
having lots of one particular card increases its chance of evolution, but its only worth doing this with R1 cards, which, as i said, are hard enough to get in the first place.
all in all, its just not worth the effort. sure some people will do it cause theyre complete morons, but thats fine by me, cause its their time theyre wasting.

I can see it now...
1) L33twannab3h4ck3r spends 3 hours duping his cards.
2) Heads online to spread the goodness.
3) Finds out that his friends, in those 3 hours, already managed to get the 9 Punch cards he managed to dupe, and are higher Clvl now, allowing for easier access to more cards.
4) L33twannab3h4ck3r cries.

Actually....
There are certain *N1* cards you can't get til level 50+. Immortality is one, rare as hell. Megid is an R1 card you can only get at level 80+ ish. So yeah, you could go to town duping these and handing them out, but the duper would already have to be a high level to have got them in the first place.

Too bad that ST messed up the rarity system, so that more 'common' cards are rare as hell to come across yet others that have higher rarity are as common as dirt. They should've just made Immortality and Megid S rank cards then and downgraded Chaos Bringer to R1 or so (among other changes).

Hmm, you can only have 3 cards max... and its better to go get more cards because of transformations and stuff like that.

Do you mean N3 and N4? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

yeah N3 is the most annoying. Seeing Ancient Saber is an N3 and i dont have one after many hours of play, its quite obvious its hard to get. but also for the fact its N3, it cant evolve online, so you have to find it offline, which is annoying.
i wants one, so far all i can do is look at the pic i took of it http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_cry.gif

I believe I made a topic much like this... but only the mods replied http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif
To put this in my opinion (again, since my topic died)...
I think Rarity wasn't ST's goal... maybe with the S-type cards. But not with the 0-N4-R4 cards.
ST learned from the previous rarity systems...
