Hey! ST released some info on Episode 4! To think that PSOW's homepage was joking when they said April Fool's!


It seems we had a large amount of people hating our change with an amazing system to wittle cards. We apologize and beat ourselves over the head with a stick. By doing this, we hope to accomplish something, we just don't know what quite that is yet. More at E3!

Do you know what happens when it's the day before you go home for spring break and there's nobody around because they already went home? What happens is I make up PSO 2! find hidden information on the next PSO game!

That's right. I used my l33t hacker skills to get into Sega's site and found some info stashed away about the next PSO game.

PSO 2: Ragol Online is for Gamecube as you can tell from these screenshots. It's going to be a true MMORPG! It will take place on Ragol and include all the areas already in PSO.

Whoa! It appears they're still using old enemy models in the current build, but look at what this screen tells us! It appears it's a Ranger in first-person mode, which many have been asking for because it would work so incredibly well! The lighting effects look better, and definitely not like they were made using Paintshop Pro. Oh man, and what's that over on the left in the blue? Is that a FOcast?

This is just an example of how great the main world looks like. You can see quite far. And that's definitely PSO 2, not some image I got off of Google.

As I've always said, they should throw in some sort of background story using the GBA. Well, I guess they stole my idea, because look at this:

It's Rico in the forest! From what I gathered, it's supposed to be an adventure game set before Episode 1 starring Rico (among others!). It'll be released in chapters, each one detailing one area of the first episode.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm very excited.

You would love to see an avi I did the other day. 1/100 of a second frame rate and 4 colors. Fun fun. And at 640*480 resolution so it can be maximized easily.
