Right.. I live in England and really do not want to wait till July for it to come out.

Main thing is if I want to pre-order, how does the US HL work?

What site do you use? What type of credit card is accepted? And can I use my access and serial numbers from PSO 1+2 for ep3?

Also since I would have a US Save, when it finally comes out here, and we want to play multiplayer, can a EU save be mixed with a US Save?

The site to purchase a US Hunter's License can be found here... http://www.sega.com/pso_ep3

I don't think you can use an EU HL on the US version. I imagine they're a bit different. US serial numbers are XX-XXXX-XXXX, and the access keys are XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. They're all numerals.

And you definately cannot mix EU and US save files. They have a different format. If you try to save Ep3 on a memory card that already has EU game saves, you'll wind up formatting the card and deleting any of the old save files. If you do import, you'll need a completely different (unused) memory card so it can be formatted for US files.

All in all, you're probably better off waiting two more months for the EU version to come out. You'd end up paying quite a bit to import and you'd probably have to purchase a new HL and memory card. Financially speaking, it could be rough, but that's just my opinion.

You can buy the actual ASCII Keyboard from Japanese Retail for cheap...

Import KBs for higher prices (E-Bay, aution sites, etc.)

or a PowerBoard from the code junkies website.... I won't post the site's name for several reasons.

Lik-Sang also sell KeyBoard Adapters. You know... good ones that don't overheat.

VISA/MASTERCARD are the major Credit card companies accepted by ST and their HL system (US).

VISA is the universal CC comapany accpeted all over the world.

I assume you mean that, does anyone use it?

I do, works like a charm. Has the same problem with every other adapter, being that the keyboard layout is in Japanese, but with either time or a JP keyboard, it's not a real problem.

Actually EU and US save files will happily co-exist, it's only JP and any other region that has the problem.

Yeah, PS2 Keyboards only, but you can always use one of those little USB-->PS2 adaptors. Get them at any decent computer peripheral store.

Ah I could. my current keyboards a bit weird now anyway, on IRC it sometimes changes to a US Layout randomly and I've gotten used to both of them http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

So do you really think it'll come out in July? I mean Should be Q3 then right?

It's only NTSC US and JP that have that problem. A PAL GC can have files of every region without a problem.
