Or, what the hell were they smoking when they made this game?

http://www.iankunx.net/deadinvinc.jpg

My FOmar, Zero. Killed by a Recon. At no point when I was alive was my HP actually low enough for my Sato to kick in and do anything. Yes, that light over Zero and the Recobox IS invincibilty. I would have preffered Reverser, invincibility isn't very useful after you've died.

Ah, the inside of a RAcast's leg. A sacred, holy place of eternal joy. Nope, there are no bugs in PSO.

Fun with Tims.

More fun with Tims.

'Stupid things encountered in PSO'.

Graphical glitches, your Mag giving you invincibility when you die, that kind of stuff. XP

(Wow, PSO itself is now spam. Next week PSOW posts AR codes on the first page!)

I can understand the invinceable when die one.
and I guess the leg one but I was sorta talking about the tim one.
how is it a glitch?
can you explain I am not getting the point of it being a glitch

Yeah it does that sometimes >.>

Superspeed Delsabers jumping backwards repeatedly comes to mind, as well as Gifoie'ing rappies that haven't even fallen to the ground yet and display no damage. Female double saber combo not matching up between the end of the second motion and the beginning of the third motion.

Also, "classic" stuff like BKB/MKB texturing and Zanba/VR Boss Arena texturing.

Trick not glitch.

Jeez Gajeh, you change your name and suddenly hate spam?! o_O

The invicibility is there to stop the monsters eating your corpse! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Heh, the thing that really gets me animation-wise is the way females walk/run with Partisans...

First of all, the walk animation is not practical. You canhold it like that, but it takes a lot more energy than just about any other way you can hold it, and is not condusive to actually USING the Partisan should the need arise.

Furthermore, the running animation is the same as the male one - Held in front with both hands. This is fine, makes sense... Except the Partisan just kind of travels through the female character's body to get there. X_x;

The way characters walk and then run with mechguns makes no sense either.

Glitch thingy. I know one. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

When a red box fall outside of the wall and you know there is your whatever super rare that it drops! But there is no way for you to go grab it.

Yepp. That is not annoying at all.
Ian, you made a Tim? Hehe

what about the gobooma / barble in forest1 in the biggest room where he always floats after spawning?

I'd be upset if he didn't do that. It's bad enough they took the Atari logo out of Pioneer II.

It's been like that since Version 1, I guess it just didn't matter enough for any of the testers to care to mention.

Offline Ult Temple, the del-d's walk about as fast as a normal mode so dimenian, rather funny since they're supposed to be scarrier than merlans arlans but end up being more exp for less worry.

I figure it's probably just some kind of typo in the code or something, similar to Ult offline Gibbles being worth like 52 or 54 exp (whoops, someone forgot to put a 0 in, heh)

In the offline Rescue Ult quest, I was too late getting to the laser fence in Ruins 3 because of the enemies in the room (I forgot about them lol). The android Elenore(?) had been knocked down by dimenians and was trapped behind the fence(!) I'm running back with Montague to flip the switch again, and the camera angle is looking behind me to see Elenore stand up surrounded by Dimenians slashing at her - MISS MISS MISS MISS MISS MISS MISS! NPC's get maybe 5 seconds of invincibilty when they get back up, haha http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I'm liking that first picture, Ian. It looks like that Recobox landed on him. Quite amusing.

Yes, Zero is secretly the Wicked Warlock of the East-South-East, and since there are no houses in PSO, it was necessary to drop a Recobox on him instead.

One of my favorite gliches is when you shoot with a ranger weapon like handgun or mechgun right after you equip it and the bullets come from thin air to your right or left.

On Soul of Steel, on the bit where you have to press the button to deactivate the laser fence the run as fast as possible? I managed to get through, but the Doc and Elenor were caught up killing left-overs, and were supposed to be *stuck* on the other side. They then proceeded to levitate, without moving their legs, through the fence, and pop out the other side as if that was normal practice for an NPC. I wasn't impressed. 'Twas still funny though...http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
