This method works by basing that you get high ranks off of comboing cards. It also doesn't require many rare cards. YOu will always get an A rank with this method, because I have not figured out a way to get an S rank in two turns without a human character or an S card.

To start, the first eight cards in your deck must me, in this order (Use the Order function to order them):

Chain Sword, Dice +1, Guard, SW Attack, Attack, Attack, Attack, Beat.

Start the game at Lupus Silva (The first level.)Start a game with 6 as the minimum roll, and the deck unshuffled. Fight vs. Reiz's Creature=0 deck.

When the duel starts, it does not matter who goes first (Reiz will do nothing on her turn.)

When it is your turn, play the Chain Sword and the Dice +1, then end your turn. (While drawing 2 Attacks in the draw phase.)

On Reiz's turn, she'll move up to you and attack. Use Guard in response. Before your next turn, you'll draw the Beat needed to complete the combo.

On your turn, get to the Action Phase. Press A repeatively (The Action cards should be in the correct order.). You'll do 21 damage to her (She will use Wall to prevent 3 damage, doing 18 damage), but that is enough to kill her. You will always get an A rank with this method.

You should be able to do this method in about a minute (excluding load times.)

If you want to save some time (Or do not have access to Beat,) use HP Attack instead of SW Attack, and Assault instead of Beat. You will get the same result.

Credit goes to cody rhees of the GameFAQs message board for the original idea (I expanded on it.)

There's also the classic
Dice +1
Exchange
Rika's Claw
Guard
HP Attack
Double Attack

Combo that always nets you an A/A+
You can cut out the Exchange, it'll take an extra turn, but no other difference. You can also cut out the Double attack, this will result in a 2 turn kill with Exchange, but only a B.

I use the same kind of thing, but I use gibbles, na attack, hp attack, stab and split boost. 42 damage max, A+ rank

http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif the method i found guarantees you an S rank in about 2 minutes.

Nano Dragon
Dice +1
Dice +1
Guard
AB Guard
HP Attack
AB Attack
FL Attack
Split Boost

set the usual rules of 6/6 dice and deck unshuffled, but go to Nebula 2 (the long, thin arena).

turn one, play the dragon and a dice +1.

Reiz will run forward three tiles on her turn.

turn two, play the other dice +1 on Reiz and move the dragon between your character and Reiz.

Reiz will run to the left and try to hit both you and the dragon with Slash. use the Guard and AB Guard to negate that.

on your next turn, use all of the action cards. this will do a whopping 40-45 damage, 50 and up if your character is Hyze.

Here's my way to get an S rank in about 100 seconds:

Free Battle Map:
Unguis Lapis A(the very first one)

Player deck:
Kranz

Cards in this order:
Savitri
Partisan
NA Guard
SW Attack
Beat

Then proceed to fill up the deck.

Dummy deck:
Endu

Cards in this order:
Rag Rappy
Rag Rappy

Proceed to fill up the deck.

Rule settings:
Min and max dice = 6
Shuffle unactivated.

If Endu starts first, skip his turn.

On Kranz's turn, equip the Savitri, and move forward one step.

On Endu's turn, summon a rag rappy in front of Kranz, and another rag rappy to the left of the first one. Use 3 points to move Kranz to the right of the first rag rappy. Use the final point to attack Kranz with the first rag rappy.

Make Kranz defend with NA Guard.

On Kranz's 2nd turn, equip the partisan, and slash away with a SW Attack + Beat combo and all 3 opponents.

I hope this is helpful. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I'll have to try that one some time. I just don't like it because it involves using another controller. The one I use just goes against the comp

I know a way to get S rank in 2 turns without having to face a dummy character.

Order:

Sinow Zele
Guard/Penitrate Guard
HP Attack
MC Attack
Attack
Guard/Penitrate Guard
Dice+1
HP Attack
MC Attack
Heavy Attack

Face Reiz Creature=0

Set Sinow Zele, Guard Reiz Attack (you might have to use both guards if she uses slash) Set Dice+1, Then move Zele up to reiz, use HP Attack, MC Attack, Attack. Reiz will move 2 squares left. Move Zele Over and Use HP Attack, MC Attack, Heavy Attack,

S Rank

My way to get 100% A Rank in 2 Turns/2 Minutes:

Use Sil'fer.
Face Reiz/Creatures=0 Deck
Shuffle deactivated, Dice 6-6,
Stage: online: Tower. offline: Unguis Lapis

Items in this order:

-Yamigarasu
-Dice+1
-HP Attack
-Sword Attack
-Heavy Attack
-Penetrate Return

First set Yamigarasu and Dice+1. Reiz will be step forward in front of you and use Slash. Use the Penetrate Return to reflect the Damage to her !
Now use the Action Cards in the order i wrote above. This will be make 31 Damage but Reiz can defend 3 HP, Rest: 28 HP, A Rank http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

the first one i put is just set, not much of a turn, and stop complaining, it only takes an extra 30 sec to go from A rank to S rank, and thats pretty good.

Stop complaining.

You don't need an extra controller for this. 1v1 offline free can be done with one controller. Similarly, 2 human players versus 2 human players require only 2 controllers.

To my knowledge, most of the time you can set and move things faster than the CPU can. So it may be more advantageous for your customised 'get more cards/exp' strategy to include a dummy character.

The only downside is, of course, you'll need to enlist a friend's help to do it online. Furthermore, the slightly altered game physics may not guarantee an S.

And do realize, that certain cards are only available in certain modes, and many of the rarer cards are Scenario only, so don't rely on a 1vCPU or 1 v1 to get all your cards.

Wow! I'm so amazed! Everyone is so skilled at gaining cheap-as-crap levels and cards!

And here I thought actually playing the game to become a better player while netting cards at the same time was a good idea... -shakes head at himself-

The sarcasm meter just got hit by a comet and trampled by a stampede of hippos.

hmmm excellent ideas i go with the zele guy but mine only requires 3 cards...
play in the map morgue A play against creinu i think thats her name and make a deck i dont think person matters but the first 3 cards should be
Sinow Zele
HP Attack
Round Slay
then if you go first play your zele on your right side and go next turn
she should lay a dimenian and a booma and move them into a group
next your turn you warp your zele over there and do HP Attack and round slay and it does 3X19 damage but creinu uses wall so you get 56 damage...which is an S rank win in 3 turns...if she goes first if you do everything as i said above it should just take an extra turn

I just found out that I added a redundant move into my method. Lol. This improved version takes out one NA Guard from the player's deck, and does not require the dummy character to attack at all.

**************

Here's my way to get an S rank in about 100 seconds, improved:

Free Battle Map:
Unguis Lapis A(the very first one)

Player deck:
Kranz

Cards in this order:
Savitri
Partisan
SW Attack

On Kranz's 2nd turn, equip the partisan, and slash away with a SW Attack + Beat combo on all 3 opponents.

***************

Modifications:
For those of you who do not have a Sonic Heroes GC save file to obtain Beat, you can replace Beat with Assault for an A+ instead of an S. Alternatively, you can try your luck with Split Boost.

That's fine and dandy and all, but I prefer Ryu_4's method. If all goes well, I only have to look at the screen once during the battle. I can spend the rest of the time button mashing while reading forums or something.

Thinks to nullman form the GameFAQs boards (And a slight modification), I MIGHT have discovered an S Rank in 2 turns method.

To start, the first seven cards in your deck must me, in this order (Use the Order function to order them):

Sinow Zele, HP Attack, MC Guard, MC Attack, Beat, Any Defence Action, Any Defense Action.

The Story Character you pick does not matter. Start the game at Unguis Lapis (The first level.) Start a game with 6 as the minimum roll, and the deck unshuffled. Fight vs. Reiz's Creature=0 deck.

When the duel starts, it does not matter who goes first (Reiz will do nothing on her turn.)

When it is your turn, play the Sinow Zele, then move in front of you. End Turn.

On Reiz's turn, she'll move up to you and attack Sinow Zele. Use MC Guard in response.

On your turn, get to the Action Phase. Press A repeatively (The Action cards should be in the correct order.). You'll do 30 (Or 35, haven't tested yet.) damage to her.

You should be able to do this method in about a minute (excluding load times.)

Can anyone test? it seems like it would work.

How silly of you. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Seriously though, so many of the cards are actually scenerio mode exclusive, I wonder how many people got an Ancient Saber yet if this is all they do!
