im still a prety low level online and off, so i dont have all of the cards to prepare for every situation, but my collection is growing.

but basically my question is:

-do you want to have a deck that will work in all or most battles situations, or do you want multiple decks to deal with different opponents and thier decks?

i guess the problem is that you never know what deck or character someone is using?

(er, i have more questions, but ill save them for now)

thanks.

edit:

another part to my question is about Defense. specifically putting in cards that defend against physical vs. tech attacks.

so far, ive only found cards that defend well against physical attacks. i suppose i do have a few that would defend against techs, but i dont think i know how to use them properly.

would a good deck have defense against tech and physical attacks? or does this fall into the category of having different decks for different situations?

oops, i was thinking this was a general question, but know it seems more appropriate in the cards/decks forum. please move topic if needed. thanks!

Most of my decks are focused on just being prepared for most things. I have a couple of weps with action disrupter incase I play with a force. I've got a SW guard for keeping my swords alive, or if they attack with swords. When I get fly, that will go into a deck so I can run over those people who try and block me in with monsters.

I like to make two types of decks: Ones that are focused on doing "damage" in 2 ways, and ones that are all around good http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif By "damage" i don't just mean AP or TP damage, could be major death/minor, or other ways of doing something negative to your opponenet http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

If you have any questions, ask away, I'll definetly answer, cuz you're sig is the best XD

Personally, I try to keep my decks ready for anything by gearing them to a mix of general offense and defense, with a few "anti-strat" cards here and there. By that, I mean I don't really theme my decks to, say, kill Hunters or kill Arkz, or counter specific strategies. If you're totally ready for one type of deck but can't change strategies on the fly, you're going to run into trouble.

A mix of both things.
I make my decks ready for all but I also make many decks ready for different situations and that rely on completely different tactics.

I've found that my decks tend to be very targeted. My favorite deck is really only good against Arkz, but I've only ever lost to an Arkz once with it. (and I had him to 1hp, too.) http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif I've got more generalized decks, and a decent rampage-heavy anti-hunter deck as well. If I have some idea ahead of time what sort of deck I'm going to be up against, I know I've got the right deck to win with. Otherwise, I guess and hope for the best.
