View Full Version : 3rd Person?

You have no doubt noticed how Uncle_Bob talks about himself in the third person. His third person talk inspired me to make a thread where everyone has to talk in the third person, but there is a catch! You can't mention your own name (Don't try to weasel your way through a loophole and say something like "the_person_who_hates_pie" for your name, because, to quote Dime "That's Lame".)

......That almost makes it second person huh?.....

Anyways,

Example:

Ted likes pie. WRONG!

He likes pie RIGHT!

Now the other catch, you only have to talk about yourself like this once in your post, then you talk about another person by refering to them as he, she, it (which ever case applies). The next person has to guess who the person before them was talking about, they can say the person's name who they think was being talked about, but they still must refer to themselves as he, she, it.

The whole point of it is really just to make the most confusing thread possible while still being logical and grammatically correct.

He is dissatisfied with it for breaking the "Don't be lame" rule. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_nono.gif

Simply put, by the time he sees what has just occured, she is already to late to respond to his post. It will never realize the full potential at which he could have talked to him. Was he right in never knowing it or him. Between him and him, he must choose from him, him, him, her, it, and him.

He declares that it has just captured the true essence of this thread in it's last post.
