Well, it's official. PSO has released it's death grip on me at last. It's been 3 weeks since I last turned on the cube. Last time I player, it was for a whole 15 minutes and then I got bored. And here is where you know you're finally finished- I watched my friend play at his house and was falling asleep on him while he was playing. No, I wasn't tired, just plain bored. After over 3 years, since release date in the US of V1 on the DC, I have been playing. Now, it's my turn to have the addiction ended. I'm not leaving here.... again. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif Just felt like saying that the game has lost 100% of it's appeal for me.
Have fun, y'all. I'll be around for a little while longer.

Hey, will you give me all your stuff if we meet online?

just kidding. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

We all eventually get bored of what we do for fun.
Why, it's been years since I last played Battletech, I'm ALREADY tired of this AD&D game a friend of mine has started, but...

There are times when I wish that I could have just as much fun as I used to while doing all these things.

When you can't, though, you just can't, so why try to deny it?

What will you be doing now for addictive fun? Or will you just be getting on with your life, as I plan to do in a few months?

It Still has its grip on me, more than ever before, this is the only game i can honestly say that i enjoy playing for years without getting bored, other games last a week a month tops, but this game is always there for me.
I found quitting smoking was easier, and what Nicotine is spoz to be the most addictive drug in the world? LoL

I got me a new pc, so Morrowind Game of the Year edition is my new addiction. As well as the pc version of KotOR. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif
That and the occasional UT2K4.

Good to see you again http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif 3 years is a good run for any game. I was addicted to D2 for about 4 years and I finally broke free lol. I've been really getting into and modding FARCRY (pc). I rarely play PSO anymore either (its a fun diversion but never had the grip on me that D2 did.) I'm still looking for that next big rush.

I haven't played Episode 1/2 for months and am now starting to have the desire to play it again. Granted, Episode II C-mode finally being uploaded kind of helps with that as well but still need to get my hands on a legit Guld Milla and Psycho Wand. >_>

I've more or less givin up myself, I haven't played any of the PSO's in a month nor do I have the desire to....sad that after three months I still never found the Lavis cannon, red saber, or the Yas3K.

I still play this game after playing for 3 yrs, you can say it doesn't have the grip it had on me while first plaing it, but after 3 yrs, it has to get "stale" sometimes, but I only find myself playing for an hour or 2 before I turn it off, even though I don't know you, i can relate to you but hopefully Sega will create a new PSO environment for us, something like FFXI but with the PSO battle system.

I hope you have fun with those games you have, but maybe in a a few months you might come back to PSO because those games (I think) are story-driven so no new stuff will compel you to play after you finish them.

And thus one of the greatest rare hunters of our time hangs up his sword. Best of luck in whatever games you play from here on out Blue-Hawk.

Sorry to see you go. Will you still come back here? Give it a while, and you will probably come back to it. Many RPGs are like that.

Was it because you weren't finding much good stuff (you were the only perosn I know that would delete a level 170+ character due to almost no drops)?

^ I have been playing since ver:1 on the DC (European release) and it still holds my attention if I leave it for a few months. One of the other games that never bores me is the sonic series and streets of rage, man they never get boring. The good old days eh.
