Legit item or not?

Ok...I admit i use hacked weps and mags and shyt all the time and i'm in no way the uber legit player that only uses stuff i pick up nor do i care, but I play a lot and i get a lot of items that i find useless...so i give them away to the people i know are legit, but heres the question...is that item legit technically? The box was dropped by the game, but i killed the enemy using "non-legit" items. Some people say no, but i can't understand why...

The other side of this is...i had a sange legit, but a hacked yasha, or at least duped. Combined the two..is the resulting S&Y hacked/duped/legit?

My take on it is this: the equipment you have on isn't going to affect the randomness of the game's drops, right? So there's an absolutely equal chance that you would or wouldn't have gotten that drop if you'd been using a duped item, a legit item, or even just been going commando or something. So, in my opinion, the dropped item would still be a legit item.

In this case, I'd say the Sange & Yasha is non-legit. Simply because, hey, you wouldn't have been able to make it if you hadn't had the non-legit Yasha. That's just my opinion, though.
