Well, PSO has been thouroughly beaten. All it's secrets revealed. The only thing I can think of to talk about, is how to make it better. So post away on problems that should be fixed, and maybe someone will have a good way to remedy it. I got a few problems, and solutions(?):
- The whole swearing bit -
Make the Filter optional and make it only filter incoming stuff, not what you type. That way those who want to swear can, and only the people who care to listen, will.
- Not enough variables making up your avatar, I hate looking exactly like other people -
The obvious solution is to just make more costumes. I think they should make maybe three models per class (you know, the polygon stretchy squishy part). Also, you know how every costume is basically made up of 4 colors? They should make each costume just be a different stucture, and then have 4 RGB color slide things. This would create a ton more variety. Oh Yeah (I edited this in), almost forgot. I think it would rock if high level characters could enter a special effects changing booth. What I mean is, high level characters (I dunno, over 100 maybe) could enter this booth and choose one, maybe two at even higher levels, special effects that your character exibits. Like a wind is always blowing against you, or your hands glow with flame. Maybe you leave flaming footsteps, or hover just off the ground (like Magus running in Chrono Trigger) instead of walking. Oh so many possibilities.
- Heres the big one: How to improve the combat system. -
More weapons? Multiple endings to chains? Guarding? Weapon techniques? I'll let you guys get some thoughts in before I go on.
