why does samus have green hair in the old games but now she has blonde? Also, wasn't her origanal body suit (under the armor) purple? Cause now i think it's like blue or something. But for possible answers I give

Green to Blonde - Blondes are hotter. Green is far to way out.

Purple to Blue - GC cannot attually do a decent blue sprite. Yes I know I was shocked as well.

Actually, as far as anime-styled characters are concerned, "Green" generally seems to translate out to "Blonde" for some reason, whenever conversions to more realistic hair colors are made.

Now, if you have a problem with the change in hair color in conjunction with the moderate change in bodysuit color, then simply adjust your TV's tint. That should make them display the way you like them.

It's probably because of the Nintendo. The game was limited to what the Nintendo could yield. That's why Mega Man is blue like he his.

I remember hearing once they wanted to call him Rainbow Man. Thank goodness they didn't.
