View Full Version : Extremist Couch Must Go

We liked the couch, but its views on the Iraqi war, gay marriages and the economy have left it an outcast in our previously-happy home. Please take this left-leaning couch elsewhere. We are far too liberal and lately it's been campaigning for Bush from our living room. It has started yelling at my Egyptian cat, fearing the cat's Muslim roots, so the couch needs to go. It also has started to kick off my friends with piercings.

Free, somewhat-ugly, but functional sofa bed. It's kinda heavy, but doesn't have any particular signs of wear (i.e. no tears, etc.)... it's grey-tweedish looking (sort of like an older "gentleman's" sportcoat pattern) so it won't offend. It's only politically left-leaning, otherwise, it's totally straight, although sometimes it slouches and cushions can use a fluffing. It's single, so it might make a great match for your currently existing lonely couch.

You have to move it, although I could be bribed for a de minimus fee to chip in to move it out of my house. It's on the first floor and there are only a few steps, so it's not that bad. Please don't mess my yard. You must come sometime after 7:30 p.m. today through Wednesday. Otherwise the street people get to sleep on it on Thursday and you can deal with the wonderful aroma after that.

It's kinda camera-shy and frankly, not very photogenic, so I don't have any pictures of it. But it's congenial and charismatic so you'll fall in love with it at first sight before it starts convincing you to start a cult.

It's not crazy, it's just extremist. It's very left-wing and it sits there watching C-Span being such a couch potato. It's constantly trying to empty out my fridge, and the grocery bills have just gotten a tad too high for our taste.

I'm sure it'll enjoy a trip to Europe but I don't think it'll settle for anything lower than business class. You know those materialistic republican extremists! I'm sure it'll enjoy going through airport security. It'll fit in in England, with it's tweed pattern and what not. Stick a pipe in it and a hat and it'll do a good Sherlock Homes impression.

But I'm quite a bit away from the UPS store like I mentioned in my other ad, and the airport is a little out of my way for today's current schedule. Bribe me with Heinz ketchup and I'll see what I can do.

heinz ketchup you say? ill have to see what my "contacts" can pick off the "tomato.....vine"

im sure it would get along with some of my friends, they can complain about some tiny little things, like why we were sold tickets in a cinema, then when we got there, there were no seats.

maybe it would enjoy getting high with some of them, and the "vast" open countryside of south london.

i can imagine us skipping along down garden paths, enjoying a glass of wine along the way. oh such fun.

ill stay away from bradford though, and maybe Croydon, i doubt he'd like it there. infact, i just wont take it anywhere north of my current location. it'll end becomeing as bad as your average terrorist, being all political and the like.

i might put a throw over it though. i mean, grey tweed is soooo stereotypical http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif

well, seeing wembley is a building site, i dont recommend many things go near it, pikeys, townies, and "modern travellers" coughgypsiescough can all go there for all i care.

but yes, it'd go down a riot in peckham and brixton, itll be tearing up the streets, literally when its attatched to the back of some pikeymobile and dragged around till its barely a couch anymore....

I live and the States and will gladely take your couch. I promise it will meet its end in a nice safe manner (well, not really, toasted marshmellows anyone http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif?).

And why do I have to be the bribe? I don't like being used as a tool in bribes. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

Edit: Is it a religious zealot too? What reliion is it (I want to make sure to give it proper arrangements)?

Ok, I'll arange to have its "welcoming" party. Now, what are the shipping fees? (Do you really need handling for it?)

Also, you can come to the cremat... err... ceremonies.
