well i know that they're 4 agito's and one is real well since no one has a 100% clue on what they do mybe someone can test this for me. If someone could get the 3 fake agito's and the 3 books of Kantana and take it to that guy (tekker) that makes the real one into the oriagaito(is that spelled right?) and see what would happen (mybe have the real one also to see what happens if you have all seven items and talk to him)

mybe this will find what the 3 books do or just kill a lot of time.

Well I just finally got a Book 3, and I took it and the 2001 Agito to the tekker guy, and he did nothing, just told me a story about the swords. Poo, I was hoping for a Oritagito. Ah well.

well what i want to know is what happens when you get all the books amd the three fakes to him (1975 being the reall Agiato)

There's more than three fakes. Plus someone out there went to the guy with all three book sand every fake in his inventory and got nothing. You can find the post only a page or two back about the books of katana.

The tekker is not magical. He can't take fake things and make them "authentic." The fakes are fake, nuff said. The 1975 Agito is the real one, you bring THAT one to him and he can clean it up.

Popular concensus online is that the books don't do anything but provide clues as to the real Agito's model #.

I think there's more to them than that because they wouldn't be so rare otherwise. Anyone with half a brain should be able to tell which is the real one considering it's 10 stars and all the fakes are 9. Besides, the Books make no sense anyhow, heh.

Don't read too deep into rare items and their importance or usefulness. The Agito, Orotiagito or not, is not the end-all sword. There are more powerful weapons out there than it. I think the books are just clues, and probably nudge potential Agito holders to take their swords to the tekker.
