I was playing my RAmar the other day, just like any other. I stepped into the teleporter to head back to Ruins 2. Just as I was coming out of the TP *insert vwoosh sound* my DC magically reset by itself. Because the game automatically accesses/saves the character data when you enter an area, it happened to be in the middle of this process when my DC reset. Thanks to this, my character's save data was incomplete and therefore corrupted. I lost a lot of items, including my only Hero/Ability, a Spread Needle, and loads of weapons and armor (all of which I legitimately found).
Am I upset? Yeah. It didn't make me happy. Will I crumble and turn to the dark side of hacking a bunch of items to replace what I lost? Naw. I came to realize something. They're just items and it's just a game. They're not really what matters. Sure over time playing the game (what, you'd think a little thing like this would make me quit?) I'll find replacements for what I lost (three times over http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif). Just as long as I have pals to play with, I don't really care what happens to my characters and items. I play to socialize and have fun. The items are just a perk.
However, I'm curious to know if anyone else has been struck by this strange phenomenon that is a DC resetting by itself. If you have, please post in detail.
