AKIKO
AKIKO is a housewife who assigns you the quest The Value Of Money. She is the head of a club called WEAPONS, and if you get all of the approvals and meet her in Secret delivery, she?ll give you AKIKO?S FRYING PAN, the ?ultimate weapon.? This is one of the hidden subquests.
ALICIA BAZ
ALICIA BAZ is an assistant at a laboratory studying the native animals of Ragol, and needs a hunter to kill some native animals to get some data, so she assigns you Native Research, where your mission is to collect five sets of data from animals. Afterwards she doesn?t believe your results, and wants to go with you in another quest. She uses a cane-style weapon and has the default appearance of FOmarls.
ASH
ASH will appear in Battle Training and From the Depths. In the first you will have to help KIREEK save him, then later he tries to help find the cause of the earthquakes. He uses a DOUBLE SABER in normal mode, and a TWIN BRAND in the other modes, yet is very weak and him dieing will cause you to need to restart the mission. He has the default appearance of HUmars.
BURNIE
BURNIE is a Ranger who helps you early on in Gran Squal and makes cameos in Secret Delivery, Unsealed Door, and Seek My Master. Numerous appearances suggest a subquest. He uses an FLAME VISIT and only casts fire-based techniques, hence the name. He has the default appearance of RAmars.
DR. MONTEGUE
DR. MONTEGUE will never join you in a quest, but he assigns you Doc?s Secret Plan, appears and is mentioned in Unsealed Door, and his assistant assigns you Secret Delivery. Also, he claims to have invented photon weapons. If you bring him the arms of defeated creatures, he?ll make special weapons out of them. Numerouse appearances suggest a hidden subquest. He is the owner of the android ELENORE and has the default appearance of FOnewms.
ELENORE
You?ll first meet ELENORE in the quest Magnitude Of Metal. She tells you how to care for your mag and helps you to find the last (and only) one in the area. Later she?ll join you in Doc?s Secret Plan. You also see her in Fake In Yellow and give her an item that she needs in Secret Delivery. Numerous appearances suggest that she is involved in a hidden subquest. The first time you see her she uses a rifle, and later she uses a spread-style weapon. She has the default appearance of RAcaseals.
GREAT SWORD ZOKE
ZOKE is the owner of three of the four legendary swords. The 4th sword, called the AGITO, is available to you for random pickup. He is the owner of the android SHINO and only appears in the quest Seek My Master, although he is mentioned in earlier quests.
GUL
Gul is the scientist in the quest Fake In Yellow. He bought some information about the native animals of Ragol off the black market, and has become obsessed with Rag Rappies. While playing the quest, search for the Rappie that will talk to you. This is Gul.
KIREEK
KIREEK is a powerful android that helps you in Battle Training and is an enemy in Waterfall Tears, Black Paper, and From The Depths. He is also known as the Black Hound, an android built for battle. KIREEK uses a special weapon known as the SOUL EATER, which you take from him after defeating him in From The Depths. This is the last part of his subquest. He has the default appearance of HUcasts.
LIONEL
LIONEL is an android who was destroyed in a fight He is in Letter from Lionel, in pieces. The mission is to find all the pieces of LIONEL. This is a downloaded quest.
MOME
MOME is one of the three scientists who assigns you Dr. Osto?s Research. After you complete that quest, he assigns you Unsealed Door, the only quest where you have to fight a boss. He also follows you around in this quest, but isn?t much help, as he's one of the weakest NPCs in the game. A common insult is "You're weaker than MOME!"
RED RING RICO
RED RING RICO is the Principal?s daughter, and will be giving you clues through the main plot. The only time you get to see her is directly after killing DARK FALZ in Hard and Very Hard mode.
SHINO
SHINO is an old style android remade to look human. She is the property of GREAT SWORD ZOKE, a master swordsman. She assists you in the Seek My Master quest.
SUE
SUE appears in Dr. Otto?s Research, Unsealed Door, and Waterfall Tears. She is a fairly good fighter, and there?s evidence that she is involved in Black Paper. She uses a weapon called the NEI?S CLAW. SUE has the default appearance of HUnewearls.
