Movie 11:
After Brolly breaks free he is soaked with a chemical that will melt him, but it does not work and instead he is severly deformed. After a long fight it looks as though Trunks has beaten Brolly, but he comes back as a 150 foot monster and now even Trunks, Goten, and Kuririn can't beat Brolly. Brolly finds his match in the sea water, though.

well yea that movie plain sucks but the other dbz movies are way better than that one

The plot DBZ: Evil person=fight. 50 pointless episodes. New evil person+fight=ssj. 50 more pointless episodes. Watch while drooling in sleep and repeat.

DBZ needs a reason to suck? That's new.
It was an okay anime up till the fight between SSJ Goku and Freiza, on Namek as it was about to explode.
"Oh noes, the planet will explode in 5 minutes!!1"
*3 weeks later*
"OH MY GOSH! MORE LIGHTNING AND FLOATY ROCKS! I GOTTA KILL FREIZA!!!!1"
Yeah. All -6- Episodes of FLCL pwn the majority of the literally hundreds of episodes of DBZ.

While having lunch today, mom decided to watch The Bold and The Beautiful, which she had taped this morning.
The plot in this sucker moved faster than in DBZ.

No, becausew thats the Anime chain of power, Beyblades is not equal to FLCL, even DBZ beats it.

Well, that's where I met most of the idiotic DBZ fanboys.
If you're going to like something, like it. But don't go crazy about it.
I blame these people's fanaticism as the reason that Dragonball has been put into such a negative light.

Yes.....Outrider, probably has just said the most important, competent, and knowledgeable things in the world {as far as DBZ goes}. The fanboys have given Dragonball* it's bad name...period.
I am a big fan....I draw DBZ and all that junk. But I do not go...."OMG dbz is so freakin awesome, you will watch it or die". I love dbz but I find it repulsive when I meet a crazed fanboy of the show. And a lot of ppl don't like it b'cuz they are all about action and they do not like it when ppl talk in the shows....well bebop and Inuyasha has a lot of talking {but no where the amount that Dragonball has....probably b'cuz it is one of the longest sagas in anime history *next to all the Gundam sagas combined* so they have to talk a lot}.

Well, you can't go into Dragonball/Z/GT expecting a Bebop or Ghost in the Shell or anything. It's purely for superficial entertainment here. You've got all the basics, but it never claims to be some deep philosophical show. I don't understand where people got this idea that anime has to be high-form of entertainment.
If I want action with comedy and fun characters thrown in, I'll watch Dragonball. (Or read the Dragonball manga, which I've found to be very funny.)
If I'm looking for a stylish and dramatic anime, I'll go for Cowboy Bebop.
If I want a quick fun show with a lot deeper plot than it leads onto, I'll go for FLCL.
If I want relatively safe, fun anime, I go for pretty much ANYTHING Miyazaki.
And so on and so forth.

Hayao Mayazaki (A guy) did indeed to Spirited Away. He also did Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Deliver Service, and (one of my favorite movies) Princess Mononoke. His studio has done a few others, such as Grave of the Fireflies, but those were the ones he was really involved in.

FLCL is the greatest anime alive next to trigun and cowboy bebop. if only it were longer though! hey do you guys think we should create our own anime show and call it FKL, its almost like FLCL, and we cant have it look alot like it. i.e- lots of crazy ass stuff going on all at once to where you wont understand it, and we could use the pillows for the music, and.... this is pretty much a normal day here at FKL isnt it?

true, alot of the series involves alot of cornyness but like alot of people i grew up with it.. <btw i dont know if thats a real adj..>
I dont like it cause alot of people around me like it.. and i dont hate it cause alot of other people like it.. Its not the best series, but I do still like to watch it..
as for akira.. well shit.. if he could make so mutch money of something like that then what am i doing here.. more power to him..
