obviously this post asks who would win in a fight ,megaman or samus?

Sorry, but no way is Mega Man more of a bad ass than Samus Aran.

Mega Man might have all the gadgets, but thats only AFTER he beats an opponent.

Odds of him beating Samus? Samus who saved multiple planets throughout the galaxy and took down life forms which were larger than the very screen?!

Not to outweigh the situation or anything, as Mega Man is capable of quite a lot, but I do beleive that Samus would pinch his pixels back into whatever graphics program they started from.


And let it be noted that I've been a Mega Man and Metroid buff since the originals, and every sequel since. o_O

I'm a fan of both the game series but Megaman has no chance in beating Samus Aran she has better equipment then megaman and megaman need to win in order to take his oppenets power so I see this as a lose for Megaman

I think Megaman has been underestimated, here. Let's consider that Megaman has, as well, defeaten enemies not only larger than the screen, but larger than entire buildings, as well. On occasion, such enemies have been the first enemies he's fought.

Let's also consider that Megaman also has the ability to perform something similar to the screw attack (which never fails to pwn a boss, by the way), in addition to having a number of special abilities "borrowed" from the Street Fighter series.

Also unlike Samus, when Megaman charges his arm cannon, the resulting blast contains a single piercing blast, as well as two sustained blasts that just kinda hang around for a while after impact, to impose more damage.

He also has the ability to jump off of, and scale walls.

These are all things that he is capable of from the very get-go in Megaman X5. Furthermore, Megaman is quite manueverable. Quite frankly, I'm not going to suggest that Megaman would DEFINITELY win, but he would most certainly give Samus a significant challenge.

Let's face it, Samus has armour far surpassing Megaman's. It'd take him years with his little drill shots and bubble beams to get through that Gravity Suit.

Also, Samus can plant a powerbomb on the ground and, using missiles and bombs, regenerate her health in a pink aura. Try and get Megaman to do that!

Well Meira, that poses the question of whether we're counting Megaman or Megaman X. There's no proof that they're the same person, so I can only assume they're two different characters. And while I'm not entirely sure, I've always had the feeling that X was more powerful than Megaman.

Kraid gets killed by Samus. Big difference.

Well mega man and samus both have their strong points but..... Darth Bobert would be victorious at the days end due to his drunken rage attacks and countless broken glass bottles. While the duo of one armed cripples fire immense numbers of energy blasts, Darth Bobert would chuck the bottles at them laughing like the drunkass he is. As the smoke would clear, both samus and mega man would be dead on the ground bleeding from a helluva lot of glass shards, while Darth Bobert would be face down on the ground..... wasted, that is.
