After I shut my DC off, the VMU will beep, and show the date set(i.e.: Select: 2000) Also, the VMU won't turn itself off.

So, do I set the date and time on it or leave it alone?

Sounds to me like the battery is dead/dying. So if you want to use the little screen while out of the DC, get new ones. Otherwise just leave it be. You can still save things on it. I seem to remember this being what would happen when my vmus' batteries were on their way out.

Yeah, my VMU was doing the same thing. I was going to post about it, but I guess you beat me to it... http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

Just remove the battery if you don't want to change it(since it's useless), it happened to me once.. although my vmu keeps beeping everytime I turn my DC on(the one without the battery)
