Users Being Banned?!?!

I was reading over at the gamefaqs boards and saw several posts by people who have had their serials banned by sega. Some admit to having hacks, while others firmly deny it. Now if these people are telling the truth and they didnt have any hacks then were they banned on accident? and if it happened to them wouldnt it mean any one of us might be banned? I like this game, but I dont want to buy another dreamcast...

Surely it only happens to repeat offenders who have attempted to bring hacks online several times, repeatedly pked, etc.

Sega wants to sell games, it wouldn't be in there own interests to be heavy-handed about the banning. I'm guessing the "innocents" are probably just lying.

More then a handfull of members here have been banned from pso ya know.
