On a more seroius note, I totally agree. There are several members on this forums, and in realife, that can't seem to take a hint. They are not superior to everyone else. Everyone has their shortcomings and their virtuosos. Also, just because you ahve been doing something linger than someone else doesn't make always mean you are more significant than they are.

but that is true bob.
My one friend says he is superiour at all games cause he can't be beat, well he challenges me at games like football and baseball and of course he wins I have no clue what to do.

However when we play something like soul caliber 2 I whip him over 5 times with voldo and his crazy combos I do.

Just so he stays feeling superior he will almost never play any games I beat him at and only the ones I can't.

If you are argueing with him he will be obviously wrong but he will let it sit for an hour and then switch it around so he was right

like for an example he would say an apple is a veggie me and my other friends will correct him by telling him it's a fruit, well after about 1/2 an hour of argueing he will drop it and then later he will say that we thought it was the veggie and he thought it was a fruit.

Well do you think he has ego problems?

any ways, I know just the kind of people your talking about, and after getting in a one-sided fight with me dishing out the grabbings and pulling up off feet and holding against wall (and got a ten day suspension) the guy acted diffrent the very next time he came to class, a lot less trash talk and hitting other people.

Here's another story from today. I went to Six Flags (theme park) on a school fieldtrip today, and this idiot comes up (he was taller then me, and skinny, but not much muscle it seemed) to me an he's like "Fight me! Come on, fight me you asshole. Come on fight me wuss!" So I shifted into a typical fighting stance (I've taken karate in my past, nothin big though, mainly basics) and did a quick shuffle forward and did a fake jabed (stopped half way purposly) and the guy goes "Shit!" and bolts off. Me and one of my friends just watched him run off, then shrugged and went back to standing around (we were waiting for people)

I agree with all of that, however, it is natural and actually healthy to believe yourself superior to others in certain aspects of yourself. Having an ego is a good thing, and keeps up self esteem.

Herm...I am not sure who in particular you are talking about, but I know I am quite arrogant, and not at all tolerant of stupidity, but I try...but hell yeah I know I am not the best. I know shitloads of things and people that can do better than me, but are not better than me. Thats the key distinction. Being and doing. Maybe you are a math genius, but a sociopath. Maybe most popular guy in the grade, but dyslexic. Maybe a fast runner, but shit at math. Maybe good at languages, but unfit or whatever. And anyhoo, with the huge amount of people, and looking at the Guiness Book of Records, chances are when you find something you own at, there is someone who has devoted years of their life to it and owns you at that, so meh. And, if that doesn't work and you still think you own, ask them what they invented, or classic novels they wrote, or art they made, or theorums or forumulas they wrote, or whose life they changed.
