Homestead used to be good, but they've changed it so free users only have a short trial. Not really sure about other ones...I think Geocities might work, but you'd have to relabel the image extension as a text file. Nothing else comes from the top of my head right now.

I've always used Netfirms to host pics, i've never really had any problems with it...

I think it's time I updated my sig a little (it remains unchanged for almost a year now, other than a few minor changes I made last month to make the colors blend together a little better o_O), top thing on my list of things to do to it is definately adding a RAmarl but I might redraw other parts of it too (or just the whole thing, depending on how it all goes)

just the continue the pic to a full body keeping the same idea and the black background. i know it's a lot to ask, but thanks. i would do it myself, but i'm not that great an artist for lower body drawing.

Edit: it's not for this board so you don't have to make it a certain size.

What kind of size would you like? I might make it about the same height as the pic, and maybe 3 times as long. I'd need stuff like name, a quote, general attitude, and all sorts of information you can get me.

There's a way to host it on Geocities and have it work. I think you have to change the pics end to .txt not .jpg, but I'm not sure how to do it.

You need to log into your webspace at http://geocities.yahoo.com

Once there, you may rename files in your webspace. And thus you can change the extension too.

Just be careful linking from Geo. Big sites like PSOW will wh0re your webspace bandwidth like hell if you don't put a small sig.

iono about all you guys, but for me, i drew my sig, all of it (well 99.99999...%, only copied AIM BUDDY ICON person ONCE), with no printshop, or paintshop whatever its called, just regular paint...

the ninjas: 1 hour to make
the HUmar: 2 hours to make and perfect
the RUNESCAPE pictures: copied AIM BUDDY ICON ppl, and used them as model, other wise, 4 hours for the frame, but a total of 1 1/2 days (non stop that is) to create whole collection (by the way, tell me if you want me to show you the whole collection)

That Sig is pretty scary, and as an event to commemorate my 4th or so post here since I registered a few months ago, allow me to present my new sig. I used a sof plastic effect and a chisel effect to get the little borders around each one of my chars. Ed looks different now because I changed his hair and outfit but the others are still pretty much the same. And yes, Makoto and Rakel are twins.

So I created my own sign and posted it on my website. I took the address of where the sign is and put it in the PSOW sign then on my edit user screen. However, when I return the doesn't show up and a small square with the X is there instead.

Ah, finally I am ready to post in this Sig testing thread!

I have finally made an image with the express purpose of using it as a sig, and added in some text. I read the guide, and the forum rules as well, so I think I've got it right.

However, I wanted to run the image past any one on here/mods or whoever, just to see if it meets general approval before I add it into that thing in the 'profile edit' page. I want to be sure everything goes perfect the first time.

So here is the picture I'd like to use:

It is exactly:
3 inches by 5.806 inches.
The limits are: 3.19 inches by 6.18 inches

It has 23.8 KB of space
The limit is 34.18 KB of space
It is not animated, and I've yet to figure out how to make it go to my website if you click on it. So. The big question being:
Is it a 'within the limits' sig which is generally approved in artistic style, function and space allotment that should attract people to click on it if they see it?

Yeah. I used a digital pen. But for the shading and colouring, good old MSPaint tools.
