Hey, I'm not a lumberjack, or a fur trader....
I don't live in an igloo or eat blubber, or own a dogsled....
and I don't know Jimmy, Sally or Suzy from Canada,
although I'm certain they're really really nice.

I have a Prime Minister, not a president.
I speak English and French, not American.
And I pronounce it 'about', not 'a boot'.

I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack.
I believe in peace keeping, not policing,
diversity, not assimilation,
and that the beaver is a truly proud and noble animal.
A toque is a hat, a chesterfield is a couch,
and it is pronounced 'zed' not 'zee', 'zed' !!!!

Canada is the second largest landmass!
The first nation of hockey!
and the best part of North America

Most people
Will tell you
That france is pretty large
But you can put
Fourteen frances
Into this land of ours
(it’d take a lotta work, it’s take a whole lotta work)

We’re larger than malaysia
Almost as big as asia
We’re bigger than australia
And it’s a continent
So big we seldom bother
To go see one another
But we often go to other
Countries for vacation

Our mountains
Are very pointy
Our prairies are not
The rest is
Kinda bumpy
But, man, do we have a lot
(we gotta lot of land, we gotta whole lot of land)

So stand up and be proud
And sing out very loud
We stand out from the crowd ’cause
Canada’s really big!

The Provicne of Quebec was the 15th colonies, and the west coast of the USA were the 13 colonies. They revolted and tried to kill us. Then, we got independence. And then we took the rest of your colonies in making a unified british north america, which we turned into a confederacy of our own...

Australia was a prison colony. Then they too got indepence.

Also, Canada is the birthplace of Lacross, played by Native Americans on Horses with no rules.
