Those [IMG] tags are not just for sigs. You can use them in any normal message to show off that desktop. The difference between the tag in the message and the tag in the sig is this: in the message, it appears in the message only. In the sig, your hugeass graphic will appear on every message you post. Not good for the dialupers out there, of which I am part at a merry 2Kbps.

Pretty much any anime site has them, I usually make my own with artwork I find on the net and my anime DVD's. Some people draw them, some people alter art directly.

I make my own desktops from art I find(just like my sigs), the last one I made was an Angel Sanctuary desktop, but I don't use desktops unless they are mostly dark.

Nice NGE background though Hirosha. I'll prolly make my own when I get enough artwork for it. A nice dark background...yeah.

My current desktop is dark grey, I'd prefer black, but the program I use for my themes tends to fubar itself if I change its preset background :

Easily done.

First, take a snap shot of your desktop. Just press the Print Screen key on your keyboard to capture some images.

Next, find a suitable host somewhere (try http://www.boomspeed.com, it's only 1 meg of space, but they allow direct linking.) and upload your pic. Don't forget your pic's address, you'll need it later. On boomspeed, it usually should be http://www.boomspeed.com/yourusernamehere/yourpic'sfilename.jpg or whatever extension your pic uses.

Lastly, to post your image, follow this link:

Get your desktop on screen and hit "Print Scrn" on your keyboard. Afterward, go into a paint program and "Paste" it into an image.

For those of you who use Paint Shop Pro, just go to "Edit" on the toolbar then hit "Paste as New Image".

For Photoshop users, just go "File" on the toolbar and hit new. You should notice that the width and height are already input as your desktop size. Once the image window pops up, just hit paste, then you're done.

Finally got around to getting this desktop made. I took artwork from a new anime coming out, and just moved the pic to where it worked on my screen. Now, I have a black desktop, that has a kickass anime character on it that isn't bright enough to blind me throughout the night.
