Apparently we don't know who our Canadians are, so, lemme copy Zane and make a similar topic to his UK one.

Sooo... I dunno. If you currently reside in Canada, please post here and where you are in the vast land mass. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

navi lives in Rain city, it has already been known. Your turn.

P.S. If I am not around for the next few days, Eclair will be in charge of keeping this thread alive. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Hey, I'm not a lumberjack, or a fur trader....
I don't live in an igloo or eat blubber, or own a dogsled....
and I don't know Jimmy, Sally or Suzy from Canada,
although I'm certain they're really really nice.

I have a Prime Minister, not a president.
I speak English and French, not American.
And I pronounce it 'about', not 'a boot'.

I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack.
I believe in peace keeping, not policing,
diversity, not assimilation,
and that the beaver is a truly proud and noble animal.
A toque is a hat, a chesterfield is a couch,
and it is pronounced 'zed' not 'zee', 'zed' !!!!

Canada is the second largest landmass!
The first nation of hockey!
and the best part of North America

My name is Eclair!!
And I am Canadian!!!

and navi
trhanks for the honour of keeping this alive

Uncle_bob

You're not Canadian.

Kuea
Jun 4, 2004, 03:07 PM
yes I am

I live in British Columbia

Near Vancouver

here's another song I posted some where before

When I look around me,
I can?t believe what I see
It seems as if this country
Has lost it?s will to live
The economy is lousy,
We barely have an army
But we can still stand proudly
?cause canada?s really big

We?re the second largest country
On this planet earth
And if russia
Keeps on shrinking
Then soon we?ll be first
(as long as we keep quebec)

The usa has tanks
And switzerland has banks
They can keep them, thanks
They just don?t amount
?cause when you get down to it
You find out what the truth is
It isn?t what you do with it
It?s the size that counts!

Most people
Will tell you
That france is pretty large
But you can put
Fourteen frances
Into this land of ours
(it?d take a lotta work, it?s take a whole lotta work)

We?re larger than malaysia
Almost as big as asia
We?re bigger than australia
And it?s a continent
So big we seldom bother
To go see one another
But we often go to other
Countries for vacation

Our mountains
Are very pointy
Our prairies are not
The rest is
Kinda bumpy
But, man, do we have a lot
(we gotta lot of land, we gotta whole lot of land)

So stand up and be proud
And sing out very loud
We stand out from the crowd ?cause
Canada?s really big!

I hope you don't plan on "getting back to nature".
If you are, poke the bears. They love that.

No I don't, but it was a show where this dude went to interview people in America and a lot of them would believe in anything he said, including the "Great big Empty land" as part of the national anthem.

It also had a funny video of George Bush acknowledging Cretien's name is in fact Jean Poutine. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

No it wasn't it. If it was, then it wasn't a regular show, maybe a special or something cuz the entire show was filled with clips of this dude running around telling people things about igloos and beavers.

I found it! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
It's called "Talking to Americans" with Rick Mercer.
It is an hour-long special from "This hour has 22 minutes"... so Supah_Chao was kinda right. Tee hee. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I wanna watch it again, it's so funny.

Some pranks (such as the "Peter Man's Bridge") were just unfair, but when a politician with global connections doesn't know the leader of their country's main trading partner... http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_nono.gif
