Story time with Auntie Photon

Hello dearies, this story is a sad one, i 'borrowed' it from an anime show. If you can guess what its from you get a cookie!

ahem...

Do you know a story that goes like this? There once was a tiger-striped cat. This cat died a million deaths and was reborn a million times and was owned by various people who he didn't care for. The cat wasn't afraid to die... One day, the cat was a free cat, a stray cat. He met a white female cat, and the two cats spent their days happily together. Years passed, and the white cat died of old age. The tiger-striped cat cried a million times, and then died. It never came back to life...

probably has to do with Kiz's striped cat in his sig. Nonetheless, I do not know what anime that is from, but the storyline sure is shitty.

EDIT: And though I don't think it's the exact quote, it IS one of the best lines from the show. I was trying to watch that episode last night, but the colors and such are screwed up on my tv from the looks of it, so most of it was way too dark. Meh, I've got it on DVD. I can watch it later.

I have the sheer unluckness of my "No Tv, No Computer" rule to start at 9:00pm, so I can't watch it (but I have seen a few episodes, and it's rather good. My friends own the movie, and one's thinking about collecting the manga, all of it)

the last episode of bebop aired yesterday so that mean the first episode airs today even though I have seen the whole series so many times I can never get tired of it.

And, uh... Sord. You might want to tell you friend not to expect the same stuff with the manga. If he gets the original one, it's not even done by the same people from what I heard. (Well, same writer/creator guy I think, but different artist and storyline.) Plus, I think even the later manga has no relation to the anime, but I don't know that for a fact.

dude, that would be my favorite class, just watchin anime everyday for an hour, and have to "study" it when I got home. Then for extra credit, we could cover "Cowboy Bebop: The Movie"

Well, the fact that Bebop has a plot that both requires thought and also doesn't try too hard to be deep gives it numerous points above most other anime out there.

thats from the last episode, Jupiter Jazz part 2, which spike dies in. i always turn my tv up loud when spike's running through the building to get to vicious. my favorite building scene is where spike comes out of the elevator after throwing a grenade down the hallway and he has the 2 guns out. it looks just like in the movies.

Cowboy Bebop has a special feel to it. A somewhat careless, easygoing feel... Must be the music. At any rate, it's very charming.
