Why do europeans get so little quests compared to the japanese and americans? All we get is Central Dome Fire Swirl, Letter from Lionel, Soul of a Blacksmith and Retired hunter! Whats going on? What extra quests do you americans get? I know you can get the japanese quests by changing your language settings, but is there a way for EU players to download american quests?

Also, is it possible to download old PSO v.1 quests and play them in v.2?

Thanks in advance, from a new bloke.

the americans get the same quests as us. its only the japanese who get more quests. u can download them by changing the language settings but that way the whole quest must be played in japanese which isnt a good thing...

Well there is a sorta legitamate reason for the lack of quests. For some stupid reason, the EU and US versions are different from the JP version. When they go to translate the new quests, they gotta reprogram them slightly. What's odd is that the stuff that's different only aplies to the dl quests. :/ At least as far as I know.

????? What you say?? EU got ALL the quests, the screwed ones are the americans. japanese and europeans have same quests. I have the japanese and my pal v2 friends can play the same quests as me.

Europeans get those 4 more soul of steel, sunset in the secret base and that weird cup ver2 quest. These 3 are only in japanese language though. But in the japanese ver2 is the same

True, yet false. v1 quests work in v1, but v2 cannot play them. Someone here once posted something about v2 registering the serial# to the quest before v2 can play it, hence downloading it from the select ship screen.

Which requires hunter license. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_no.gif

http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/cat.gif If I remember well, you can play V1 quests using PSO V2 disk...

I think I played the V1 Eastern Quest after I got V2.

The only quests "protected" are the V2 quests.

Then you did something I didn`t. Same exact quest, v2 created char (not v1 convert). No luck. :/ My v1 can still play, so shouldn`t be a bad quest download.

Or maybe I'm smoking crack... I'll try to download the quest again and play it with my V2 chara. ^_^;

I'll post the result.

Depends on the game. There's no problem doing the quests in jp. Only that I can't understant the text... but I can do it still

Plus, you can still figure out the basic necessities from the store(mates/fluids). If you`re into grinding, you should be able to find a grinder (2500 meseta). People with photographic memory (of their inventories)should have "no" problems. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif
