I was looking for PSOGC on eBay, and I noticed the extreme majority were Xbox. has any Xbox player seen an drop in online players? just curious.

Seriously though, I have, and that's why I got a GC to play on. I hate soloing online, mainly cause it's uber-hard, but also because it just feels so lonely. At least when you're offline, you know for sure that there isn't anyone else coming.

What? There are more people on the GC version.... The xbox version I guess is not doing so hot.

well this is just great. first everyone migrates to ep.3 on gamecube, leaving virtually no one on most of the better servers. now we hear news that people are moving away from the xbox version, its a very sad day for pso ep.1&2. i only hope people will start to play again so that its more fun for the people online.

Anyone whos ever wanted to play a legit game of PSO for once should consider PSOBB. There has been some hacking activity, but sonic team is fighting back!

I have to admmit, I had lost hope on ST but they've surprised me on PSOBB Even though some cheats will persist, it's a safer bet than Ep1&2. As for me, I'll move when I can. There is continually a minumum of about 200 people online at any given time on the almighty Xbox. That's MINIMUM!! After work, the first three blocks of Apatite are usually jam packed (albeit with illegits). The other four servers often have anywhere from 25-65 people on them at peak hours.

Now, granted, they're mostly ass-munchers with their bazooka doing 5000+ damage per shot and I wish they'd all go away, but they're there nonetheless.

On gc there are always 300-2000 people online on the japanse servers. The us varies from 200-500 (am i right?)

Having played both, I prefer the xbox to the cube.

I prefer live chat to typing.

Even with the lag, I prefer live chat.

I have a pretty good group of guys and girls that I play with and usually have no problem hooking up with someone for a temple or a tower run.

if u asked how many ppl are playin psoX two weeks ago,the numbers would of been fewer,but because TFLO has been cancelled more ppl r stickin with 1&2 now,it was quiet scary for a bit,everyone i asked all said that as soon as TFLO was out theyd dump pso straight away. i prefere cube version btw

It's difficult to say, given that US players can be in EU or JP ships also. Frankly, I could care less which system has more US players at any given time... it's sort of pointless to even try and consider it as a base of argument.

i like the gamecube version because you can download games to your gameboy advance and, the gamecube is smaller than the xbox , so i can move it to my friends house, to the big tv room, etc etc etc, would be nice to have a voice chat, but nothing is perfect in this world, also i cant wait for the new zelda comming to the gamecube =)

the xbox does load faster and voice chat is soooooo good,even though their is a slight delay,its better than havin to stop and type

oh and also i forgot, gamecube got a lots of japanese players on PSO, in matter of fact in japan Gamecube and PS2 got more games than what we got in the US, Xbox appeared in japan but i heard that they had to took off the Xbox market for a while because lots of xbox at the beggining "scrached" the dvds games, oh oh, bad start in japan bill..

I just bought PSO for XBOX last week.
Can't believe I haven't gotten it until now.
The cancelation of TFLO I guess prompted me to do so.
I'm having a great time with my friends. We all play legit, and are addicted.
This game is my summer savior.
