http://www.heinz.com/jsp/consumer_faq.jsp

and my bottle says refrigerat after opening.

And bleach says keep out of reach of children.

That doesn't mean you have to keep it out of their reach. Infact, I'm sure there are lots of times that you would want it within thier reach. Like, what if one of them needed to bleach something, and they were responsible about it Or if you wanted them all to die an "accidental" bleached death.

The point is, that the backs of bottle are normaly just suggestions.

I have checked on several bottles, and they have never said refridgerate. I haven't founf it on the restaurant, or the 60.6 oz ones. If you can scan a Heinz label, please do so.

In addition, the FDA has set a standard of identity for ketchup that does not permit the use of any animal products. Any deviation from this standard of identity would mean that the product could no longer be called ketchup nor sold legally under the name ketchup.

Does this mean that Ketchup is a vegetarian?

Of course, it could just be that they bought an empty bottle. No wonder it says to refridgerate it after opening...

Huh. Odd. I've studied the back of the 60.6 oz bottles, and never saw anything that says refridgerate. But then again, it is only in English.

Wonder why the biggest bottles don't have anything that says that. And anyway, it is not required, just a suggestion (like don't put batteries in a microwave and stand next to its door http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif). Suggestions have no meaning.

I stand partially corrected. I haven't seen a label that says that on either the largest (60.6 oz), or smallest (4 oz?) bottles they make.

Dude, the smallest is 0(oz), not 4(oz).

That is cofusing... It has no mass, yet a volume.. Is it a pure vaccuum? If so, I know many places that would gladly give large sums of money to study it, in its... emptyness. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif
