Damn kitten/panda symbols are everywhere!

It seems like when I go to a populated ship or lobby there are people using kitty symbols or that damn panda shaking it's ass symbol. It's really bugging the hell out of me, and now I hate kitties and pandas because of it. Is there anyone here that's noticed this and hates them? Uncle does have a point in some ways. If you're going to make a chat symbol, at least be original and make up your own instead of copying someone else's work.

There is validity in complaining about the symbols in PSO. I mean, we've all come across come retarded ass who for some reason or another put in the time to make sex/masturbation symbols and annoy others in the lobby.

Well, he was specifically complaining about Pandas and Kitties. Sure, they're in use a lot, but that's no reason to really hate them. Just avoid popular blocks if they bug you so much. Geez. Of all the things on PSO to complain about...

And I happen to have several kitty symbol chats-I did make all mine myself, but there really aren't too many ways to make cat faces. I shouldn't have to avoid populated ships. I should be able to go to populated ships
without being spammed with masturbation/kitty/panda symbols. They annoy me when about 5 people in 1 lobby have the exact same one and use them over and over again. Now, I don't mind them if I see one every 10 or so minutes. (except the masturbation ones...) Also, I would complain about other things on PSO (like the little fuckers that think they are so "1337" because they can rsod lobbies, nolers, pkers, people that NEED 180 weps in battle mode, etc.) but that would probably start a flame war and I would get banned :|

Come on, you all know you just loved the WTC symbols, people having moving pictures of a plane hitting two buildings and laughing about it. I even used to get flamed by entire lobbies because of my character name(ABDUR101)...so if anyone has a reason to bitch, its me.

Well, it's freedom of (chat) speech. Why should all the OTHER people have to stop using particular chats that YOU don't like? If YOU don't like it, then YOU leave the lobby, not all of them. That's not fair to them. See my point now? You're the one bitching about it, not them. Since you think it's a problem, and you can't make them stop doing it, nor should you (that's how they enjoy the game, and that is the point, after all), then YOU should simply go to another ship/lobby where they aren't doing it. It goes without saying that popular blocks will have that problem. Therefore, if you hate the chats so much, you should simply avoid them, not expect them to stop. Cause they won't.

I agree with you there. It is lame as hell when several people (usually just two) keep doing the same chat over and over. Usually the other people will react one of four ways to this:
Yell at the offender(s) causing them to either do it more, or cuss back at them

Ignore the offenders completely like they aren't even there

Start doing annoying chats themselves

Leave the Lobby the offenders are in

Those are basically your options. Since the first never works, the third is annoying, that leaves 2 and 4. Leave or ignore them.
