um, yeah, boo.
i was playing battle mode about an hour ago and i noticed that the battle mode theme "longing to ancient times" i think it is sounds quite similar to nine inch nails' "the big come down" in terms of base style thing in the background.
oh, and i don't have a clue why i'm posting this topic, i'm just stupid
sleep is needed soon.

Or just ranting, but you do have a point about nine inch nails kicking ass...(the guy whole stole Pretty Hate Machine must die...and I thank Disc Replay for having the Children of the Night import, those live versions of Scary Monsters, Reptile, and Hurt done with David Bowie kicked more ass).

The band has a few good songs. But I've always liked the logos and merchandise packaging a lot more than what comes inside 'em.

ANYWAY.. in response to mwseifer's Nine Inch Nails wonderment... Trent has done work with Quake and Doom III that i know of for sure.. so depending on what you were playing... it could very well be Trent... hope that helps.. .somewhat.. heh

The funniest thing of all is this, while joking about PSO ripping off one of Trents cuts, Trent himself has admited to ripping off a couple folks. Namely: Alien Jourgensen from Ministry, and Nivek Ogre of Skinny Puppy.

Direct connection - Skinny Puppy's "Dig it" CIRCA 1986 and NIN's "Down in it" CIRCA 1988.

Just a little side note, Trent also stole Ogre's look during his Hate Machine Days. Now they're all friends . . . aint it cute?
