Stacking? Drop Rates?

I have been stacking for some time, and i was wondering if it effected drop rates. I have heard different things, but i was worried that it does because i havent been finding rares. It might just be luck though. (a very big period of bad luck)

Oh, im on gamecube with Episode 1 and 2

Who knows!

But it might affect your drop rates if your stacking causes legit players to not want to play with you so you end up missing out on online play and therefore miss the larger quantities of enemies available to get those drops from.

Know what I mean?

To be perfectly honest, I doubt seriously it has any affect on drop rates at all and I could care less if someone wants to stack mates and fluids.

Again, just my opinion.

i also think that the game couldnt be effected by a glitch.

Most people say that stacking alters part of the game's code which affects rare drop rates. No idea how or why that worked out, I guess ST just unwittingly punished stackers.

All I know for sure is that drops have been exceedingly rare for me lately, after I started stacking. I gotta admit though, it sure is handy to stack...

So you are saying that stacking does stop rares from being found? Crap that sucks

Now if i were to stop using stacked items, would my char be permintely ruined?
