Some GC pso trial info

Im not sure if people know this already or not, but i just checked mamaks site, and they had some early trial info. It looks like its from some1 who has a trial version. It dont say much, but it says 2 check back in 4 more info as its found...Just check it out...

Well Mamaks just added some other new stuff about the trial. It talks about a few gripes people r having, and about some of the new weapons...again...just go check it out...

Some various thoughts from official GC E1&E2 trial board

- Some complaints of Multi-mode (split screen) as being hard to see once the screen splits 3 or 4 ways.
- Some complaints about the levels and enemies having lousy AI (probably coz its beta)
- Some complaints about muffled sound effects
- Overall impression of the game is good with minor gripes.

New weapons/units/items include:

Photon launcher - gun type, unique motion
Musashi - Katana type
Blue Saber - ???
Gekou - ???
Idos slot - adds more slot (up to 4 additional)
Cure/Paralyze - self explanatory
Cure/Confuse - as above
Blue Maji - increases barta series level by 1. Equippable level 11 (shield type)
Resta Maji - increase resta series level (shield type)
Red Maji - increases foie series level (shield type)
Magic stone (Heart Key) - ??

Ok, first things first. There are a total of 4 ships and each has a different name from their DC counterparts, they are:

Mercury:01
Venus:02
Earth:03
Mars:04

For the trial, intro and music is pretty much the same except for the new area music and new title screen. This time, you can save up to 4 characters in one memory card making it easier for us to make characters. There are now about 30 lobby actions or so. Some include backflips and dance moves. There is no offline battle mode but it might be included in the full version. Finally, new weapons I see or find will be reported to makak so check site frequently

Indeed, the two sabers are getting a ton of attention. They look awesome. Hopefully you can do moves with them much like how Anikan uses two lightsabers in AOTC. That would rock! thanks for de link.....also i got a question about 1 of those new items posted called Idos slot this adds more slots to your character so you can now have 8 slots for items......if thats true that would be so kool!!!

Well, yeah, but it's not the money I'm really concerned about. I have enough for the trial.

However, it's a combination of spoiling things way too early and also getting my characters trashed when I'm done with the trial. I mean, I'm already going to be spoiling the game a bit early for myself by importing the game, so importing the trial would be an overkill. =P

Although the trial doesn't have everything new in it, it's got the classes and a couple of the stages. That's enough to make me not want to spoil it so fast.

Nope, you can only increase your slots up to 4, but of course anything can change from now and 8/8/02

Pretty sure you just use the Idos Slot on an armor that has less than 4 slots and it'll add an extra slot to it.

I would assume that it just merges w/ your armor. That way, you don't feel all sad when you finally find an awesome rare armor, only to discover it has 0 slots.

Im not an odd duck at all, I just like 2 try and have a little fun once in a while. At least Greg understood that. Anyways...Wata would be able 2 answer this question best, but since we have seen a few of the new weapons, could we get some pics, and maybe descriptions of them and add them 2 our item list. It would kinda be like a tease 4 all of us, but I know I would love 2 know about all the new stuff.

I don't think it's a good idea to add weapon data from the Trial version of the game.

Mainly because they could change the graphics or attributes of the items before the final comes out. Could turn out that the weapon is overpowered and needs toning down, just as an example.

Yeah, u are prolly right about the weapons Wata, well it was just an idea. I think it would be hella cool if we could use that item that add's slots 2 armor 2 make armor have 8 slots, but that might make people 2 powerful. Now about Greg's girlie...she has nothin 2 be worried about, besides I dont want her 2 bash me on the OH forums. Now hmmmm what about you???

I don't have the trial version. Ask SnAPPLE/BaruBanana. If it films some AVIs of the trial, I wouldn't have any problem putting them up.

Ok heres a little more info. With so many trial topics going on right now, im not sure if this has been said yet, but here we go anyways. If u go 2 Greg's Omega Hour forums, there is a topic in there that has IGN Insider review of the trial. There is links 2 pics and the 6 pages of commentary. Ok, I have more. I read this over at Mamaks forums. Some1 said that rares seem 2 be much easier 2 find now. He said that people were finding spread needles in the forest. Also he went on 2 say that spread needles are RAmar only. Im not sure if any of this is true, im just tellin ya what I seen. So dont kill the messenger if im wrong.

I would assume that the two versions will be pretty much the same with the real enhancements being in PSO2.
