Believe it or not, it took many conversations with The Mango to develop what we now call "The Doot". Kind of an accidental invention, but they started as a figure of speach, and eventually became what you heard, and the picture you saw.

In all honesty, I'm kinda surprised by the way you've reacted. Normally when I present the concept of a Doot to girls, they go all goo-goo eyed. Interestingly, it seems like guys' first thought is to kill it.

I dunno, I may have. I've had them for quite some time. I've probably still got the original 3D model sitting on my computer at home somewhere, too. I remember, at one time I made a bunch of different sprites for Well of Souls based on it.

You know, I might note that the body of a Doot is only perhaps the size of a grapefuit. They're not big critters, really.

I think the smallness makes them a bit creepier. And their Christmas colored eyes that go like this o_O What colors do they come in please?

Eye colors vary, but rarely match... There's usually a red one, though the red one could be the little eye or the big eye. The other eye could be just about any color.

Well... It does, and it doesn't... It has that little yellow trunk thing, through which it can gather its nutrients... We believe it is used to suck fruit dry of its juices. Kind of a Chupafruita, you might say.
