i tried bidding on the one that wasnt 450 and stoped at 110.00 and look at the one that was for 450 it had been cancelled for some reason and the highest bider moved over to were to i was biding and i guess mustve bidded 450 i will never know im sure not ganna bid over 450 o well itts only a trial ill just import the full version and pay 60 bucks or so i can wait a few more months om i think http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Bear in mind that "officially" the trial only lasts about a month so by the time it arrives you might not have much time left(although they may just keep the servers alive until the full version is released).

Also the trial package includes a FREE copy of the full JP game when it ships. Make sure that they are going to send this to you as well and not just the trial version.

PS: it's great o hear you can get online from outside Japan with the Japanese version. I was unsure originally to whether I order just the game or that and the modem. Now I know!

I have a lot of friends in Japan, one of whom was a member of Dreamcast Direct and was kind enough to buy it for me and then ship it on to me.

Yes, this was my main concern, but it appears to be dead easy and took me just a few minutes of fumbling through the Japanese manual (although I speak a little Japanese which helped).

That seems like a rip off to me. Normally, you get the trial shipped to you after the end of the trial. The product descriptions didn't say anything about that so I'm assuming the seller will be keeping or selling the full version when he gets it shipped to him. Seems pretty dumb to me to pay a couple hundred bucks just to play for a month

I had a Japanese friend search PSO's site for the place where it stated there would be a free Japanese version after the trial.

He found nothing.

On ebay people also buy EQ, D2 LOD, and other online RPGS for like hundreds and thousands of dollars sometimes for VIRTUAL items. Its pathetic.
