View Full Version : What Country do you play in?
Pretty much self-explanatory. I'm just interested to see if anyone plays outside the 'server range' (Japan, UK, US). Being in Korea, which is annoyingly close to Japan, I might go online... if it works with a BBA. So for the sake of interest as well as my benefit, please tell me your countries!
uhm.. Woo hoo!

I'm in the Netherlands. I play mostly on the EU servers, with the occasional small excursion to the US and JP servers.

:/ I still intend to find out if the BBA will work over here (AUS/NZ). If it works, it will be a $70 well spent http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif.

I live in a city about 20 minutes away from St. Louis, Missouri. Near the center of the US, but kinda empty, if you travel anywhere outside the St. Louis Area, it's a guarantee you'll pass countless farms http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_cowsleep.gif

Is Ireland part of the EU? If not, I still have hope. Again, there's that dude from China. I'll take my chances on the BBA :S...

Ireland is in Europe ( it's right beside England ). As for BBA ( I presume this Broadband adapter ). Eircom have recently started supporting Broadband so it should be possible to play PSO on broadband in certain parts of Ireland.
I used to live in Dublin ( the main city in Ireland ) but I recently moved to Cork City, I live far away in the country, in a house on top of a mountain far away from civilistion, only 1 phone line and it is faulty ( keep getting disconnected ) so no online access for me. Eircom are currently unable to run a hugh speed line all the way up up here, same goes for broadband. The closer you are to the major Cities the more mod cons you will have. I hope I have answered your queries.
Substance, thanks for your information... unfortunately, it happens that I'm in... well... Seoul, Korea. The closest major city would be Tokyo, but I'm not sure if that's close enough. But as Korea has the world's fastest internet access, I'll presume that it'll be able to ping out an address ... hopefully.

I'm in New York City... Brooklyn to be exact. You'd think, being in the part of NYC with the highest population, we'd get broadband pretty quickly, but my area wasn't able to get DSL until a little more than a year ago... go figure.
Question... where do people living outside the PSO server ranges connect to? Like people from Australia, South America, etc.? Do they even have their own PSO versions, or do they import?

I live in Ballwin Missouri, pretty close to St. Louis. Seems like a pretty good place to be connected from, because I usually download quests faster than other people. Aren't the servers in California?
