We took a family trip to Dave and Buster's the other day. For those of you who don't know, Dave + Buster's is an Arcade/Resturant/Bar with a stageshow room and some other wacky stuff.
Anyways, they have some pretty odd prizes in the machines in their arcade. Everything from watches tolittle rubber Pokemon figures. Well, one of the machines was giving out PS1 games. Sure, the games were budget-priced and came from a company I never even heard of. But hey! Free games!
I took a shot at the machine and won myself two games. One called StarSweep. The other called Street Racquetball. Starsweep looked interesting, so I popped it into my PS2 and played it for about 45 minutes.
It wasn't bad. So i headed over to Gamefaqs and wrote a review on it. ( http://gamefaqs.com/console/psx/review/R75405.html )
Not bad for a freebie.
As for street racquetball, it looks terrible and i'm not even gonna bother opening it. I'll end up trading in that one.
Maybe Arcades are taking a turn for the better.
