We took a family trip to Dave and Buster's the other day. For those of you who don't know, Dave + Buster's is an Arcade/Resturant/Bar with a stageshow room and some other wacky stuff.

Anyways, they have some pretty odd prizes in the machines in their arcade. Everything from watches tolittle rubber Pokemon figures. Well, one of the machines was giving out PS1 games. Sure, the games were budget-priced and came from a company I never even heard of. But hey! Free games!

I took a shot at the machine and won myself two games. One called StarSweep. The other called Street Racquetball. Starsweep looked interesting, so I popped it into my PS2 and played it for about 45 minutes.

It wasn't bad. So i headed over to Gamefaqs and wrote a review on it. ( http://gamefaqs.com/console/psx/review/R75405.html )
Not bad for a freebie.

As for street racquetball, it looks terrible and i'm not even gonna bother opening it. I'll end up trading in that one.

Maybe Arcades are taking a turn for the better.

Good for you. Glad to see you got something interesting for your money http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Is this really a rant, though?

Sure it's a rant. It's a GOOD rant.

Not every rant in this forum needs to be a bad rant.

Um, i think hes talking about an English Football, you lot would probably call it a Soccer Ball. Most English Footballs are made of leather, but you can get some cheap ones made out of Rubber, and im guessing that seeing as it was a freebie it was one of the cheap Rubber Air Balls.

Those dam rubber balls are the source of annoying goals http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

You try and cross the ball and it ends up out of bounds or in the goal cause it doesnt have the weight to curl normally.

You can even get it to curl in an S shape, that makes for some amazing shots though http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif up yours David Beckham.
