In order to pay my $100 speeding ticket(due to certain incidents) and buy me another $100 gamecube and a broadband adapter i have to quit my low paying $5.50 an hr job and resort to a new job.......before I go farther DO NOT LAUGH LIKE MY SO CALLED FRIENDS DID........................I am now the Chukie cheese mascot. I hate being him but its the only job that pays a lot and that hired me. I'm in training right now. Even though i'm in training this job is pizzazing me off. It is so hard being that damn rat.

Blowin ouy B-day candles, finding my inner child, hugging those lil bastards and getting sore throat due to making a stupid voice.

When i applyed for the job i specifically said i wanted to be a silent mascot! God, i be so glad when i get my pay check and go.

Just be glad that you are able to find a job. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

And it isn't so bad, well, considering that you can tell your grandkids what a great mascot you were. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif I think it rulez. Rough job, but not everyone has been a mascot, ya know? Think of it that way.

That's what happens at the Chuckie Cheese. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_nono.gif

Are you on Part-time or Full-time?!

I work part-time at Hobby Lobby *crafts super center*.....they pretty much work me just at 40 hours a week *about 33-38 hrs*. It was the same way with Kroger. Stupid employers and their crafty ways. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_rant.gif

If I was the Chuckie Cheese mascot....I would want $7.50-$8.00 an hour and I wouldn't want full time. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

The Reason.....I really, really, really don't like little kids and I would not want to put up with them anymore than I'd have to.

I wouldn't even last that long. I'd be out the door and fired with the first damn kid that laid its hands on me. I can't stand todlers. I mean, yeah I want children, but meh, todlers are so annoying! Whine and cry, and whine and cry. Get's so annoying! @_@

Damn...I could never do that..I would just go insane with all those little kids. Ah but 5.50 an hour..shit I'd go insane there too! Good Luck

I work part time and I get about 7 dollars a hr and i get my first check in 2 weeks. I guess i'm able to put up with it because i have a heart(somewhere) for kids but it so noisy and loud with smartass kids but its the only way of getting money.

With 7 Bucks an hour it won't take you too long to get your 200 bucks for a GC and your Ticket.

I don't hate children, but, seriously, kids seem so much different in the past 4 years, they act like little vandals and rude "sailor-mouths".

oh and i thought the minimum wage was $6.50 ?

Nope, minimum is $5.15. Though, in order to attract people in bigger areas, businesses often start employees at a much higher wage. Why apply at AAA business when they pay $5.15 starting when BBB business starts at $7.50?

Also.

Shut the fuck up.
It is your own damn fault you got the ticket. I don't care what the lame excuse is... you got the ticket and that is life. Pay it up and LEARN from it. Also, do you really need that $100 Gamecube and the $50 broadband adapter? No, not really. See, remove those two things that aren't exactly essential to live and/or with the law cuts your current total from $250 to $100. See?

And about the job? I've worked at a fast-food resteraunt for 6 years now... and I get paid $7 an hour NOW that I'm a manager. And you're getting paid $6 something as a trainee at a Chucky Cheese? You know what, if you want something hard in life, you put up with it. Don't bitch to me that you have to work for your video game system and ticket, because I've been doing it much longer then you (and for a majority of the time, a sucky wage) and I have a Dreamcast, Gamecube, Gameboy Advance and an X-Box. Almost $2,000 worth of video game equipment. And not did I once complain about having to work for said video game items.

Because I have work ethic.
See other thread about people and how they blame everyone else. People don't take blame for their actions, and expect to not work for a thing but get everything handed on a silver platter.

Congrats, no sympathy from me.

I've been informed that i'll be digging up a few trees, as well as a new ditch http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

First all i want to know why u act like a jerk, I take fool blame for my speeding ticket and the only reason i'm working a job dressed up like a rat is to get my gamecube and pay my ticket off cuz i broke my old one. In my 16 years of living i raised myself. I'M POOR AND STILL IS SO don't you even tell me about hard work and wanting things on a silver plate. I barely was able to buy a gamecube when it first came out. I understand that i'm whining but this is what this forum is about. You probably had loving parents who probably bought you clothes but look at me with the only love i got was a father that use to beat up on me for the fun of it everytime he got drunk. I had to teach myself how to read and get everything i needed. I had to buy the clothes on my back, my toothpaste, deoderant, shoes, school supplies. So don't you dare insult me by saying i act like some spoiled rich kid.

I'm leaving this thread and any other thread I might have replied in because all I see myself doing is getting into a big stupid argument that I personally do not feel like getting more involved in.

My apologies, for my rudeness.

I work for the Financial Aid office at Rice University. Starting salary of $7.50/hr. $0.50 raise every semester. Owned. (Hehe, j/k).

I work as a labbie for some electrical engineering courses at Rice Univeristy. Current pay is $8.50/hr. Again $0.50 raise every semester.

I just started a part-time stint at Best Buy. I look up music and games for people. Starting pay: $7.25/hr. No big raises though.

What's the lesson? Don't work fast food. It's just not worth it. I guess if you've already gotten to a managerial position, you might as well stick with it, but I suggest to the rest of you that fast food should be a last resort.

If you can't take the heat, don't post in a RANTS forum.

We posters of PSOW don't cater to your every whim and need as a shoulder that you can try every little tear on.

And besides, people need altering viewpoints, and doses of support and firey death come equally.

(I may need to follow Kodia's example and make some signs...)

Ah.
I can read threads, but I'm not going to flame and/or discuss this with InfinityXXX since I'll probably say something dumb and stupid.

Now, I can reply in this thread do to this little comment of yours. Nice and simple: You cannot judge someone by just one post. I did that to InfinityXXX. I shouldn't have, and I do feel bad now because I assumed things about him that I shouldn't have. I could just as easily say a couple things about you, but I've learned my lession for at least tonight.

However, I've posted well over 1,400 posts on here and you'll definately get a better persepective of who I really am if you go through them all. So, if you honestly think I have no people skills at all... well, I dunno but you're wrong. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

P.S. Sorry for derailing the thread with my flames.

But don't you, at Ben+J's (oops, I almost abbreviated it BJs) have to also have some type of talent and/or sing? That's what one of my friends had to do.

Still, lucky.

some one gets paid 11.15 for scooping ice cream? i think i can feel my soul leaving my body. I have to do manual labor all day and don't get paid nearly that amount. Blisters, back and feet pain... no food to take with me to eat. I don't how my parents are still doing it. Still a chucky cheese mascot isn't all that bad unless the kids have baseball bats and you look like a piniata.

Infinity, if that was my brother who kicked you in the balls on his birthday party, I'm sorry...

http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif Seriously though, work up on patience. I recommend you either exercise, work out, or even just sit down and do some form of mental relaxation (PSO, for instance!) after your job. You're gonna need it- this ain't a Apple-fanboy job.

Another piece of advice: cross out on your calender, or somehow keep track on a big piece of paper until the end of your paycheck. It helps.
