Walter the Farting Dog

by Kotzwinkle, William; Murray, Glenn
$15.95, 40 pp., ISBN: 1583940537
Frog, Ltd. , Hardcover

Long Description
Warning: This book may cause flatulence.

Walter has a gas problem. He can’t help it. It’s just the way he is. Fortunately, Billy and Betty love him in spite of his gas problem. But their father says he’s got to go! He’s smelling up the house. Poor Walter. He’s going to the dog pound tomorrow. And then, in the night, burglars strike. Walter has his chance to be a hero dog. The answer is gas. Children will love Walter, and his gas problem.

A review: I have seen this book everywhere! As I am looking for a book to help teach my (3 year old) manners. I have not purchased it, nor will I. I cannot see how using toilet humor encourages any manners in the preschool set or otherwise. Preschoolers are notorious mimics! Someone mention tolerance, but even that should not be relegated to farting! I could only see how this books shock humor would only be appreciate by adults, or older children with an understanding (the difference between what is acceptable and what is not). Hopefully ... I will soon discover a book more appropriate.

Chu, fair do's but none the less seing them stamp about on stage like nuts could be vaguely entertaining

It is said that a cat-god comes out which offers you any three wishes, if you manage capture one of Eclair's tails.

he must like them a lot...or in a perverted way...

Tact

That seems right. He probably does that to gross out Sonic so it's easier to take over the world/universe/whatever.

but if he just used crows feet then sonic would be crippled...

Tact

He'd step on them, and cripple himself. Eggman should do that. It would make the games harder.

Tact

I have Sonic Advance 1 and 2. Got all the Chaos Emeralds in Sonic Advance 1. I currently have a Chao from SA2:B in the Tiny Chao Garden, also.

space_butler
Jul 7, 2004, 09:46 AM
my garden on sa2:b is almost full...Ive corrupted the data on it 3 times now by overfilling it

Tact
Jul 7, 2004, 09:51 AM
Heh. Too bad there are no Chao in Sonic Heroes.

Anyway, as for SA2:B, I have...three Hero Chao and one Dark Chao. One of the Hero Chao is on his second life and has lvl 99 Running, so he can win the lvl 5 Peridot. Also, Chao don't age in the Tiny Chao Garden, so I take advantage of that to get my Chao as powerful as possible.

space_butler
Jul 7, 2004, 09:53 AM
ive got the hero garden filled, the dark garden almost full and the middle one full too...its wierd and scary in there

all of them...I stay out of the hero garden as sonic...the little cretins follow him around all the time

Tact
Jul 7, 2004, 09:58 AM
Do all of your Chao like you? They love you if they come to you when you whistle.

And, you know what's funny? All of my Hero Chao absolutely adore Knuckles...but they blow raspberries at Sonic. And Knuckles's digging sound sounds wierd...

most of the ones in the hero garden love sonic, and a few in the middle one do too..the dark garden is controlled by my brother so I try not to go there nless im stealing stuff

Tact
Jul 7, 2004, 10:02 AM

space_butler
Jul 7, 2004, 10:05 AM
the only toys there are are a couple of footballs in the dark garden..I cant be botherd to win any for the heros

Tact
Jul 7, 2004, 10:06 AM
I have all of the toys for the Chao Garden and the Hero Garden, and the ball for the Dark Garden, I think.

space_butler

heh the highest levels on any of mine are on the only one in the dark garden that ever gets looked at...then theres nothing abouve 40 on that one anyway

The challenge races are funny. The eggs can run.

space_butler
Jul 7, 2004, 10:10 AM
and the little animal things...they keep beating me by a loooong way

Tact
Jul 7, 2004, 10:12 AM
Do you ever cheer for your Chao? Remember, if you keep slamming the A button, their Stamina will fall like a rock. I only cheer for them when I have to, or I want to rub it in the other Chao's faces when I'm about to win.

space_butler
Jul 7, 2004, 10:14 AM
I only cheer at jumpy bits, and it usually works too

Tact
Jul 7, 2004, 10:15 AM
If you have a GBA/GCN connector cable, why don't you try raising your Chao in the Tiny Chao Garden? It's easy, portable, and you don't have to worry about your Chao aging.

space_butler
Jul 7, 2004, 10:18 AM
theres already a chao in the tiny garden on sonic advance, its all under the evil controll of my brother thogh and hes trying to get enogh rings to buy a tv or something

Also, for the TV in the Chao Garden, the type of show that your Chao watches depends on what kind of Chao it is? ex. If it is still a child Chao, it will watch cartoons. (I caught my Hero Chao, Stradus, watching soap operas...http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_no.gif)
