This is actually a rant about some general things, but this is the first one I am going to be mentioning.

There are this type of people who like to remember things from a millenia ago and mention it whenever they see a situation remotely related to whatever happened to them before. They jump back in and yell about it. People in real life, forum, everywhere. (though this one was forum inspired)

1. It was ages ago. Let it go.
2. They missed the original point completely and proceed to interpredate all the things said as they see fit and make themselves the victim to get sympathy, or people to stand by their side or something.
3. It was a FUCKING MILLENIA AGO. STOP MENTIONING IT!
4. It has NOTHING to do with the current situation which the whole story was brought up again.
5. Did I mention how old the matter was?

Second and less important things.
As some of you might know I am supposed to vacate my current apartment by August 1st. I still havn't found a suitable new place yet. Bro is very picky about locations, and yet he doesn't do anything to help hunting down his ideal places. I am really stressed about it. As is, I am just not very confident I can get everything done in time. Moving is big and tedious and is a hella work. And just keep rejecting the places I have suggested is not productive. Dammit.

At the same time, I am also still looking for a job at the same time I am stressing about moving, and such. I also need to sell a couple pieces of furnitures. ... Everything is kinda cramped together and I am supposed to get it all done while bro sleeps and eats. .... It isn't just me who is moving, why must I do all this? I loathe his non-existant sense of responsibility. Gah.

And it is hot. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

As a bigger brother of two younger siblings (sister- 12 yr, bro-7 yr) I have to admit that I have lots of stress in the same situations... of course not to that extent.

Our family's moved at least an uber-uncountable number of times, back and forth from Hawaii, Cincinatti, Korea, and Japan. Don't worry, its stressing- I've seen my parents like that too.

The first thing you need to do- get your brother off his ass! If he's younger than you, that should be no problem. But if he's older... ehh...

give him something he likes... REALLY, really likes..

Use methods like "OK, I've decided!" or "Did I tell you where I decided to move?"... get his attention! make his curiosity go under your mercy until you final reveal that you haven't actually decided yet. Then, he probably will get to his senses and start thinking seriously about the move.

Job... as a young 'un I guess I have no say in that.. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_confused.gif

Furniture! Ever heard of eBay (http://www.ebay.com)? Quite a wonderful place, indeed.

Good luck!

I am not sure how to two two black marble pieces of furniture on eBay. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif Shipping itself would be like ass.

For the reason, of course we didn't buy those two pieces of furniture. They are ugly and way too big. It's my dad's taste. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

huh, and here i was thinking that i was the only person who couldnt find a job this summer. as was said before, i totally agree that you should just pack only your stuff when moving day arrives and leav his stuff behind and that you should oick out the appartment that you like since he really seems to not give a dam.

Meh, if you're moving in-state, or even in-city, the move won't be all that hard. (coming from someone in a military family).

About the bro. Kick him, where it hurts, and scream, really loud. That'll get his attention. Than scream and yell some more about getting a new place to live.

That, or you could just take everyone else's advice and not pack his stuff. Whatever works for you.

As for the furniture. Gah, don't wana think about furniture.

Maybe I need to start to make a rant about how my "navi" isn't from Zelda, or Lain. Dammit, it is original and has nothing to do with the two! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif
